Its temperament is as pure as its appearance suggests, and that purity leaves it unable to tell good from evil at times. Wrongdoers take advantage of it often.

How to Get Elphidran
Elphidran is Dragon, so an Ice attacker takes it down fastest — and a Pal it resists will drag the fight long enough for it to heal or flee.
Wild Elphidran spawn between level 20 and 80. Higher-level ones are markedly harder to hold — take a low one first and come back for the rest when you are stacking a condenser.
Its capture rate is 1.0, which makes it exactly average, so weaken it properly and throw from behind for the back-strike bonus.
Large Dragon Eggs from the grass regions can hatch one, and those egg nodes come back roughly every three hours — worth a sweep if you would rather hatch a 0-cost Elphidran than fight the alpha.
IcePlaying Elphidran Well
Ice is the answer: it resists Dragon and Dark, so an Ice partner plus an Ice-element weapon is the only pairing that cuts the fight short. It is skittish and breaks away instead of trading blows, so stagger it early before it gets airborne and drags the fight out.
Amicable Holy Dragon does not activate until you unlock the Elphidran Saddle at Technology level 20 — the flight and the Dark-Pal drop bonus (40% at partner rank 1, rising to 80% at rank 5) are both gated behind that saddle.
The level 30 alpha holds territory just east of the Ancient Ritual Site fast travel point, which is the earliest reliable Elphidran on the map — you can reach it long before the level 45 alpha in Astral Mountains Cavern.
It also roams inside the No. 1 Wildlife Sanctuary off the southern coast, reachable from the Sea Breeze Archipelago fast travel points. Sanctuary catches raise your wanted level, so bring a glider or a flying mount and expect to leave in a hurry.

Elphidran Boss Rewards
Beating the boss Elphidran once yields the Elphidran Bounty Token. Holding it is the whole effect — it permanently raises the stats of every Pal on your team for as long as it sits in your inventory, so it is never worth selling.
The fight also unlocks Elphidran Saddle, the gear that lets you ride or deploy Elphidran properly.
Wild Elphidran Level Range
Wild Elphidran roam at level 20–80 out in the world — plan your spheres and party level around that before hunting one on the interactive map.
Where to Find Elphidran
Elphidran spawn locations in the wild — every marked spot is a known spawn area.
Most of them are around Cinnamoth Forest (26.4% of known spots), with smaller pockets near Hypocrite Hill and Ancient Ritual Site.
Dungeons Elphidran Appears In
Besides its wild habitat, Elphidran turns up inside one cavern, and takes the boss chamber in one of them. Caverns are the reliable option when the overworld roll is not going your way.
