Where to Find Glowing Ancient Relic
143 Pals drop Glowing Ancient Relic when defeated or captured, which is usually the faster route if you are already out hunting — the drop list below is sorted by how reliably each one gives it up.
It also shows up as world loot — junk hauls while fishing in the World Tree, treasure chests in the World Tree and fishing the treasure spots in the World Tree, and 5 more pools besides, usually 1–3 at a time. Higher-grade chests carry the better rolls, so the ones guarded by a camp are usually worth the detour.
Sending a team on the World Tree Subterrenean City Ruins and The World Tree's Forbidden Area expeditions brings some back without you leaving base.

Using Glowing Ancient Relic Well
Relics have one destination: the Ancient Relic Recycler (Technology Lv 74, 3 points, 800 power, any Handiwork Pal can run it — see the recycler guide). Feeding it a Glowing relic always returns 7-9 Mythical Wood and 7-9 Paloxite, then rolls seven independent bonus slots on top: 34.56% for 5-10 Ancient Civilization Cores, five separate Radiant Gem rolls at 17.28 / 8.64 / 4.32 / 2.16 / 1.08%, 6.5% for a disposable implant, 5.33% for an ancient weapon or armor schematic, and three consumable rolls at 4.32 / 2.16 / 1.08% that pay out training manuals, skill fruits and Kinship Peaches. Averaged out that is about 2.6 Cores and a third of a Radiant Gem per relic.
Do not stockpile Glowing relics hoping for one specific Radiant Gem. Each of the five gem slots that fires picks evenly from all nine elements, so any single element sits at 1.92% on the best slot and under 3.8% across the whole batch — roughly 27 relics per gem of the colour you actually wanted. The Cores are the reliable payout; the gems are change.
Against a Glistening Ancient Relic this grade is barely behind on materials and far behind on paper. Glistening only lifts the guaranteed wood and Paloxite to 9-11 and the Core roll to 41.47%, but its schematic chance jumps from 5.33% to 20% plus a second 19.44% schematic slot, and its implant roll doubles to 13%. Recycle Glowing relics the moment they pile up for Cores and bulk World Tree materials; hold Glistening ones for the schematic hunt. Within that 5.33% roll here the tiers split 80% Schematic 1, 16% Schematic 2, 3% Schematic 3 and 1% Schematic 4, so a Legendary ancient schematic lands on about one Glowing relic in 1,900 — not a plan, just a bonus.
