How to Get Bastigor
Bastigor is Ice, so a Fire attacker takes it down fastest — and a Pal it resists will drag the fight long enough for it to heal or flee.
Wild Bastigor spawn between level 75 and 80. The higher end resists spheres noticeably harder, so it is worth hunting the low-level spawns for your first catch and saving the high ones for a condenser stack.
Its capture rate is 1.0, which makes it exactly average, so weaken it properly and throw from behind for the back-strike bonus.
All 69 wild spots sit in one endgame zone rather than being scattered: the World Tree region, around the Abandoned Laboratory, on the identical point pool that carries Beakon Cryst, Univolt Cryst and Elgrove Cryst. Day and night use the same 69 points, so time of day changes nothing about where you stand — one loop of that zone is a shot at four Ice Pals with Cooling on the ranch, not just this one.
That zone is the only way in. The copy that fights beside Bjorn at the tower is a boss encounter and cannot be sphered, no alpha of it is placed in the field, and the sole breeding recipe that produces one is Bastigor with Bastigor — so there is no parent pair that skips the trip. Catch your first two out there, then breed for the rest when you want a condenser stack or a squad of them for raid runs.
