How to Get Leafan
Leafan is Grass, so a Fire attacker takes it down fastest — and a Pal it resists will drag the fight long enough for it to heal or flee.
Wild Leafan spawn between level 28 and 68. Higher-level ones are markedly harder to hold — take a low one first and come back for the rest when you are stacking a condenser.
Its capture rate is 1.0, which makes it middle of the road: take the health bar down first and aim for its back.
Hunting the 105 spawn points is not the only way in — Leafan is also in a wild nest pool, and in exactly one of them. Sunreach Isle is the pool: 39 nest sites, 16 Pals sharing the roll, so every egg you carry home is a 6.07% chance at a Leafan. No other nest grade anywhere on the map can hatch one, so a run through any other egg field is wasted time if Leafan is what you are after.
There is no fixed alpha Leafan standing anywhere on the map — the spawn tables hold 105 ordinary points and not one boss arena. That matters because the alpha table is the only place the Ancient Civilization Parts and Precious Entrails come from; a normal Leafan surrenders Leather and nothing else. The single route to an alpha is the nest egg, at 0.18% per Sunreach Isle hatch, so treat it as something you might stumble into over a long hatching session rather than a farm you can plan around.

Most of them are around Mossanda Forest (35.2% of known spots), with smaller pockets near Enchanted Firmament and Crystalline Archipelago.
