How to Get Shroomer Noct
Shroomer Noct is Grass / Dark, so a Dragon or Fire attacker takes it down fastest — and a Pal it resists will drag the fight long enough for it to heal or flee.
Wild Shroomer Noct spawn between level 39 and 77. A level 77 one resists far more than a level 39; catch cheap first, then farm the high spawns for condensing.
Its capture rate is 1.0, which makes it middle of the road: take the health bar down first and aim for its back.
You do not have to hunt one down: it is in the Sakurajima nest-egg pool at a 4.42% hatch chance, with a 0.13% shot at the alpha version. Every large egg you carry back from Sakurajima is another roll, which is the cheapest way to get a second one for breeding without clearing Cherry Blossom Cave again.
DragonFirePlaying Shroomer Noct Well
Every move it learns is a ranged shot, and the heavy hitters (Nightmare Ball, Seed Mine, Dark Laser) all have a minimum range of 500-1000 units. Close to melee distance and most of its kit cannot fire at you. It is nocturnal and aggressive, so a night approach means it engages first — hitting it during the day while it is asleep skips the whole exchange.
Riding it is gated behind the Shroomer Noct Saddle, a 2-point technology at level 39. Building one costs Fiber x30, Paldium Fragment x30, Leather x20, Refined Ingot x10 and Mysterious Mushroom x20 — and the mushrooms come off this Pal itself at 1-2 a kill, so budget roughly a dozen encounters if you have no other Shroomer line stock.
Its partner skill Roiling Spores only pays out while it is assigned to a base, where it slows sanity drain for every Pal working there by 10% up to 15% at max level. Leave it stationed rather than in your party — paired with its Planting 3 / Handiwork 3 / Gathering 3 spread it covers a work slot and the morale upkeep at the same time.

Where to Find Shroomer Noct
Shroomer Noct spawn locations in the wild — every marked spot is a known spawn area.
Most of them are around Silent Lake (29.8% of known spots), with smaller pockets near Sakurajima - Mushroom Wetlands and Azure Cliffs. They come in groups of up to 3, so plan sphere stock for more than one.
Shroomer Noct in Base Raids
Shroomer Noct shows up in one raid group that attack your base, at level 23–26 around the Sakurajima. Worth knowing before you settle there — build your defences around what actually turns up.
Dungeons Shroomer Noct Appears In
Besides its wild habitat, Shroomer Noct turns up inside one cavern, and takes the boss chamber in one of them. Caverns are the reliable option when the overworld roll is not going your way.
