Silvegis
#160Needs Silvegis Saddle equipped — without that gear the skill does nothing. It unlocks at Technology level 60 for 4 points, so a Pal caught early can sit unusable for a while.
The metal fittings around its neck are magnetic, so the leg pieces latch on whenever they drift close. Once enough scrap piles up on its neck it starts a grudging cleanup, and gets irritated when the debris refuses to come loose.

How to Get Silvegis
Silvegis does not spawn randomly. There is exactly one, a fixed level 62 alpha standing in its own spot on the map, so this is a scripted fight you travel to rather than something you search for.
Silvegis is Dragon, so an Ice attacker takes it down fastest — and a Pal it resists will drag the fight long enough for it to heal or flee.
Wild Silvegis spawn between level 62 and 80. The higher end resists spheres noticeably harder, so it is worth hunting the low-level spawns for your first catch and saving the high ones for a condenser stack.
Its capture rate is 1.0, which makes it dead average, which makes the back-strike bonus worth lining up before you throw.
The one Alpha is on Feybreak, a short walk south of the Shield Dragon Tunnel fast-travel statue, near map coordinates (-984, -1022). Unlock that statue before you go and the trip is a teleport instead of a climb. It is the only Silvegis in the world you can walk up to and throw a sphere at, so treat the encounter as a capture rather than a kill — every other copy has to come out of an egg.
Playing Silvegis Well
Pick its passives for the trainer, not for the Pal. Silvegis earns its party slot by keeping YOUR shield alive, so the traits that pay are the ones whose effect targets you while it is out: Vanguard (+10% player attack), Stronghold Strategist (+10% player defense) and Reload Master (+4% reload speed). Self-scaling combat traits like Diamond Body (+30% Pal defense) or Immortality do nothing for the shield buff — save those rolls for a Pal you actually expect to trade hits.
Aegis Shield multiplies whatever shield you already wear, so pair it with the largest one you can build — Ancient Shield. At rank 5 only a fifth of the damage your shield would absorb is actually deducted from it, and the refill starts far sooner after you stop taking hits, which turns a big shield pool into a buffer that regenerates between exchanges instead of after the fight. That is the reason to bring Silvegis to tower and raid bosses: not its damage and certainly not its speed as a ground mount, but the fact that the buff applies to the player rather than to the Pal.

Silvegis Boss Rewards
Beating the boss Silvegis once yields the Silvegis Bounty Token. Holding it is the whole effect — it permanently raises the stats of every Pal on your team for as long as it sits in your inventory, so it is never worth selling.
The fight also unlocks Silvegis Saddle, the gear that lets you ride or deploy Silvegis properly.
Wild Silvegis Level Range
Wild Silvegis roam at level 62–80 out in the world — plan your spheres and party level around that before hunting one on the interactive map.
Best Silvegis Build
Silvegis shines as a mount. The passives below push that strength as hard as possible — hunt them through catches, breeding or implants.
