Silvegis Saddle Crafting Recipe
Crafting it takes 120 materials across 3 types, and the bottleneck is almost always the 75× requirement — line that up first and the rest follows.
Where to Find Silvegis Saddle
Silvegis Saddle is not something you find lying around — you craft it, and the recipe is below.
Using Silvegis Saddle Well
The recipe is a Technology entry at level 60 costing 4 points, and it is built at the Pal Gear Workbench — a cheap 2-point structure that only ever needs one Handiwork worker, so the bench is never the hard part. Level 60 is the real gate: 119 of the game's 588 technologies sit at that level or above, and among the 124 pieces of Pal gear only 29 are gated this late. Expect to have Silvegis long before you can saddle it.
What the saddle switches on is a defensive buff for YOU, not for the Pal. Aegis Shield cuts the damage your own shield absorbs by 65%, and it shortens the pause before the shield starts refilling by 30%. Condensing Silvegis raises both: the damage cut goes 68, 71, 75 and finally 80% at five stars, while the regeneration delay is cut 34, 40, 48 and finally 60%. Every one of those numbers is applied to the trainer, so the Pal's own defence stat has nothing to do with it.
The condition is having Silvegis deployed as the Pal at your side — being in the saddle is not what triggers it, and a Silvegis parked in a base work slot or sitting further down the party protects you with nothing. Riding still counts, since the mount is your deployed Pal, which is why this doubles as the flying-defence pick: you keep the shield buff the whole time you are in the air. A second Silvegis in the party adds nothing, as the effect is flagged not to stack across copies of the same tribe.
No other Pal in the game touches the player's shield — the two effects behind Aegis Shield appear on Silvegis and its alpha version and nowhere else across the whole passive table, so there is no cheaper or earlier substitute for this saddle. Note also that the gear brings no mounted attack of its own: its active-skill slot is empty, so mounted combat is your own weapons plus Silvegis's moveset, and the saddle is bought purely for the mount and the shield maths.
Silvegis Saddle — Silvegis's Gear
Silvegis Saddle is Silvegis's own gear — no other Pal can equip it, and Silvegis cannot be ridden or put to work in its geared role until you have this in your inventory.
Equipping it turns on Silvegis's partner skill, Aegis Shield.
Silvegis is Dragon, which is what decides where it is worth taking — the gear does not change its typing, only what you can do with it.
