Xenolord
#196Needs Xenolord Saddle equipped — without that gear the skill does nothing. It unlocks at Technology level 66 for 5 points, so a Pal caught early can sit unusable for a while.
Its log reads as arrival at the destination with the entity |Supersonic Dragon| as top priority, notes the conquest deadline blown by years, records no trace of any conquest and confirmed naturalization, then opens the elimination protocol. A memo to staff tacks on a reminder against forgetting or eating critical data.

How to Get Xenolord
Xenolord is not found in the wild at all — it is summoned. Place Xenolord Slab on a raid altar at your base and beat it there; the slab is the whole gate, so the fight is a gear check rather than a hunt.
Xenolord is Dark / Dragon, so a Dragon or Ice attacker takes it down fastest — and a Pal it resists will drag the fight long enough for it to heal or flee.
Its capture rate is 1.0, which makes it dead average, which makes the back-strike bonus worth lining up before you throw.
No wild encounter means no sphere: the only one you will ever own comes out of an egg handed over for clearing the raid at a Summoning Altar. That egg rolls 90% ordinary and 10% alpha, and the weights are identical on the level 65 and the level 80 version of the fight, so grinding the harder tier buys you nothing on alpha odds — repeat whichever fight you clear fastest.
Playing Xenolord Well
One clear of the level 65 fight funds the rest forever. It always pays a Xenolord (Ultra) Slab, and so does the level 80 raid that slab summons, so the Ultra tier reseeds itself and the Ultra fragments are only insurance against losing a slab. The rest of the level 65 payout is 3-6 Ancient Civilization Core, 4-5 Training Crystal, a guaranteed Dragon Skill Fruit: Dragon Meteor and your pick of an Applied Handiwork, Generating Electricity or Cooling handbook. The level 80 version flattens those to fixed 10 Cores and 10 Training Crystals, doubles the handbook to two copies and adds Xenolord's head — the only source for that hat.
Treat it as an add fight, not a duel. At 70% health it starts calling meteors down, four of them, each landing three Xenovader; below 40% the barrage grows to six and half of those drops bring a Xenogard in with the trio. That is roughly two dozen extra bodies before the boss dies, all of them Dark, so an Ice or Dragon sweeper for the adds earns its slot next to whatever you brought for the main target. The level 80 raid adds a third trigger at 20% and eight meteors on it, which is where an under-levelled squad gets buried rather than out-damaged.
Farming fragments is optional. A finished Xenolord Slab turns up in the technology-book stands of the Viking ruins inside Feybreak Cavern at roughly a 1-in-4 roll per stand, which skips the four-Xenolord Slab Fragment craft outright. The fragments themselves pay 1-2 per dispatch from four hard expeditions on a 60-minute clock — Celestial Sakura Cavern, Dark Cave of Feybreak, Sunreach Isle and World Tree Subterrenean City Ruins — or from the 120-minute very hard pair, Eternal Pyre's Forbidden Market and PAL Genetic Research Laboratory. They also sit in grade-3 chests and enemy camp boss stashes across Sakurajima, Feybreak, Sunreach Isle and the Snowfields, so a Feybreak dungeon run can turn up either half of the equation.
