Xenolord Slab Fragment

Blueprint1

A shard bearing Xenolord's likeness. Gather the whole set to form a Slab.

It is a component in one recipe, so keep a couple spare rather than a stockpile.

Gold Value10

Max Stack9999

It weighs almost nothing and stacks to 9,999, so there is no reason not to carry a full stack. It sells for almost nothing, so do not bother hauling it to a shop.

Where to Find Xenolord Slab Fragment

Xenolord Slab Fragment shows up as world loot — chests in the Sakurajima, chests in the Feybreak and chests in the Sunreach Isle, and 6 more pools besides. Higher-grade chests carry the better rolls, so the ones guarded by a camp are usually worth the detour.

Sending a team on the Celestial Sakura Cavern, Dark Cave of Feybreak and Sunreach Isle expeditions brings some back without you leaving base, and 3 more expeditions can return it too.

Using Xenolord Slab Fragment Well

Four fragments assemble into one Xenolord Slab, which is spent at a Summoning Altar to call a Lv 65 Xenolord. That is the ceiling for this fragment. The harder Xenolord (Ultra) Slab is not an upgrade you can buy with a stack of these — it is built from four Xenolord (Ultra) Slab Fragment, a separate drop with its own sources, so no amount of hoarding the plain fragment moves you toward the Lv ?? fight. Farm the two tiers as two unrelated collections and stop at four of each per summon; surplus fragments do nothing but take up space at 0.25 weight apiece.

Every expedition that carries this fragment pays the same 1-2 per completion, which makes the VeryHard pair a trap for this specific item: Eternal Pyre's Forbidden Market and the PAL Genetic Research Laboratory lock up your team for 120 minutes to return exactly what a 60-minute Hard run returns. Send teams to the four Hard destinations instead and you clear the four fragments a slab needs in roughly two to four dispatches rather than burning double the clock for it. If you are farming on foot in the meantime, boss stashes in the Sakurajima are the one standout — they hit at 55.6%, well ahead of the flat 33.3% every other chest and stash on the list rolls.
