How to Get Ribbuny
Ribbuny is Neutral, so a Dark attacker takes it down fastest — and a Pal it resists will drag the fight long enough for it to heal or flee.
Wild Ribbuny spawn between level 1 and 24. A level 24 one resists far more than a level 1; catch cheap first, then farm the high spawns for condensing.
Its capture rate is 1.0, which makes it exactly average, so weaken it properly and throw from behind for the back-strike bonus.
It is a skittish Pal: it runs the moment it notices you and only turns to fight when it has nowhere left to go, so throw from range or from behind rather than walking up to it. Time of day is not a factor — all 399 wild spots are live at noon and at midnight alike, so there is no reason to wait for night the way there is with the Noct variants.
DarkPlaying Ribbuny Well
Ribbuny breeds true: two Ribbuny in the same pen return a Ribbuny egg, and so does Ribbuny paired with Rooby. That matters because every kill guarantees Leather, Berry Seeds and a Ribbuny Ribbon, so one captured pair turns into a standing supply of all three without ever hunting the grasslands again — and the surplus eggs are cheap Paldeck-free fodder for condensing a four-star Ribbuny.
The Grass variant, Ribbuny Botan, shares Paldeck slot #44 and is bred, not caught, from Ribbuny: pair it with Bristla, Mossanda or Penking. Pairing the two forms with each other does not give you either of them — Ribbuny and Ribbuny Botan produce Flopie instead, so keep the Botan out of the pen once you have it if a second copy is what you are after.

Where to Find Ribbuny
Ribbuny spawn locations in the wild — every marked spot is a known spawn area.
Most of them are around Mount Flopie Summit (13.3% of known spots), with smaller pockets near Eastern Wild Island and Isle of Murmurs. They come in groups of up to 3, so plan sphere stock for more than one.
Dungeons Ribbuny Appears In
Besides its wild habitat, Ribbuny turns up inside one cavern, and takes the boss chamber in one of them. Caverns are the reliable option when the overworld roll is not going your way.
the boss chamber fight is level 17–19, and ordinary cavern spawns run level 14–17.
Best Ribbuny Build
Ribbuny shines as a frontline attacker. Build toward the passives below and the role does the rest. Catching, breeding and implants all supply them.
