How to Get Muffly
Muffly is Ice, so a Fire attacker takes it down fastest — and a Pal it resists will drag the fight long enough for it to heal or flee.
Wild Muffly spawn between level 15 and 65. That top end fights the sphere much harder, so start low and leave the tougher ones until you need duplicates.
Its capture rate is 1.0, which makes it dead average, which makes the back-strike bonus worth lining up before you throw.
Sunreach Isle nests are the second route in. Muffly is one of the wider entries in that pool at 6.07% per hatch, with a 0.18% chance the egg comes out as an alpha. Slower than working the 270 field spots, but a hatched one starts at level 1, so you can re-roll passives by hatching again instead of hunting a wild adult with the right traits.
FirePlaying Muffly Well
Fluffy Flutterer is a catching tool, not a combat one, and it only fires against a target that is currently frozen - then it adds one to five extra levels of capture power depending on how far you have condensed Muffly. The pal that applies the Freeze and the pal that banks the bonus can be the same one: Muffly picks up Icicle Cutter at level 7 and keeps adding Ice moves after that, so send it out, land ice hits until the target freezes, and throw while it is still iced.
It is worth keeping a spare Muffly in the breeding pen rather than butchering the duplicates you catch. Pairing it with Tanzee or Daedream both produce Bristla, which is a far quicker way to get a Medicine Production worker than finding one in the field.

Wild Muffly Level Range
Wild Muffly roam at level 15–65 out in the world — plan your spheres and party level around that before hunting one on the interactive map.
Where to Find Muffly
Muffly spawn locations in the wild — every marked spot is a known spawn area.
Most of them are around Cinnamoth Forest (25.6% of known spots), with smaller pockets near Hypocrite Hill and Ancient Ritual Site. They come in groups of up to 4, so plan sphere stock for more than one.
Muffly in Base Raids
Muffly shows up in one raid group that attack your base, at level 13–15 around the Sky City. Worth knowing before you settle there — build your defences around what actually turns up.
Dungeons Muffly Appears In
Besides its wild habitat, Muffly turns up inside one cavern, and takes the boss chamber in one of them. Caverns are the reliable option when the overworld roll is not going your way.
the boss chamber fight is level 27–29, and ordinary cavern spawns run level 22–25.
Best Muffly Build
