How to Get Xenovader

Xenovader is not in the wild spawn tables or any dungeon, so it cannot be found by exploring — it arrives through a fixed encounter or by breeding rather than a hunt.

Xenovader is Dark, so a Dragon attacker takes it down fastest — and a Pal it resists will drag the fight long enough for it to heal or flee.

Its capture rate is 1.0, which makes it dead average, which makes the back-strike bonus worth lining up before you throw.

There is no nest or biome to camp for this one — it turns up at meteor crash sites, which fall at random spots and only stay active for a while before the debris despawns. That makes it an opportunistic catch: keep spheres on you and detour the moment a meteor lands, because the site is gone long before the next one is announced.

Meteor fall frequency is a world setting, so on your own world or a private server you can turn it up and stop waiting on the default timer. Bring your best spheres to the site rather than saving them — a failed throw here costs a whole meteor cycle, not a walk back across the map.

Playing Xenovader Well

Its Dark typing is the whole fight: Dragon damage cuts through it, so lead with a Dragon partner such as Jetragon, Quivern or Chillet and pair that with a Dragon-element weapon or ammo. Chip it down with Dragon hits, then throw — 90 HP and 85 Defense means it folds fast if you overcommit and lose the catch.

It is an aggressive nocturnal pal that opens fire on sight, and its 125 Ranged beats its 100 Melee, so the damage comes at you from distance the instant you enter the crash site. Armor and healing items are worth topping up before you fly out, since you are landing in the middle of the aggro radius rather than approaching on your own terms.
