Stamina Lotus (L)

Material · MaterialMonster3

The large yellow bloom, and one of the harder things to get hold of. Stamina Elixir requires it.

Stamina Lotus (L) feeds 2 different recipes, which is why it is worth farming past the point you think you need it.

It weighs almost nothing and stacks to 9,999, so there is no reason not to carry a full stack. At 30,000 gold it is worth real money to a merchant.

Where to Find Stamina Lotus (L)

Stamina Lotus (L) shows up as world loot — crates on the oil rigs, crates on the large oil rig and recycling Decayed Ancient Relics, and 4 more pools besides, usually 1–2 at a time.

Random caverns grow this flower as a floor pickup rather than as chest loot, which is why no chest pool on this page names one. The pickup is biome-locked and exactly one biome grows the yellow variety: the Astral Mountains Cavern rolls every lotus spawn 50/50 between Stamina Lotus (L) and Carrying Lotus (L), with nothing else in that pool. Its enemies sit at level 38 to 44, so the flower is farmable roughly forty levels below the raid that also drops it. One catch — the node only exists on that cavern's medium and hard reward tiers, so an easy layout will hand you mushrooms and junk and no flower at all.

The other lotus caverns pay other colours, and it is worth knowing which to walk past. Hillside Cavern, Ravine Grotto and Mountain Stream Grotto draw from the small-flower pool only, so a yellow pull there is Stamina Lotus (S) one time in four, never the large one. Cavern of the Dunes splits its nodes between Life and Power (L); Volcanic Cavern splits Life and Speed (L). Cherry Blossom Cave, Feybreak Cavern, Sunreach Skies and the Isolated Island caverns carry no lotus node whatsoever.

Priced in finished Stamina Elixirs — six flowers plus two Predator Cores each — the listed routes rank cleanly. The level 80 raid pays 20% per clear, so budget thirty clears per elixir. Ordinary oil rig crates come to about 0.3 flowers an open once the 20% chance and the 1 to 2 stack are folded together, roughly twenty crates; the large rig's grade 5 crates are worse at about 0.2 an open despite the fatter 1 to 3 stack. Recycling Ancient Relics is not a route at all: Glistening relics are the best of the five at 0.073%, which is on the order of 1,400 recycles for a single flower.

Using Stamina Lotus (L) Well

Two caverns skip the flower entirely and hide the finished elixir. The Astral Mountains Cavern and the Tides of Terraria island's cavern each carry a deep-tier reward chest that rolls Stamina Elixir against Gold Coin at 1 to 100 weight — around a 1% hit, but it saves six flowers when it lands. Every other cavern's version of that chest pays a different stat. Nothing else consumes the large yellow flower, and the small one is not a cheaper stand-in: Stamina Lotus (S) feeds Stamina Remedy, a separate and weaker permanent boost. Both work on you and only you — feeding either elixir to a Pal does nothing.
