Power Lotus (S)
Material · MaterialMonster2★A tiny red bloom that takes real effort to track down. Might Remedy cannot be made without it.
Power Lotus (S) feeds 2 different recipes, which is why it is worth farming past the point you think you need it.
Details
It weighs almost nothing and stacks to 9,999, so there is no reason not to carry a full stack. At 20,000 gold it is worth real money to a merchant.
Where to Find Power Lotus (S)
Power Lotus (S) shows up as world loot — crates on the oil rigs, crates on the large oil rig and recycling Decayed Ancient Relics, and 4 more pools besides.
The chest pools below are not where this flower comes from. Random caverns grow it on the floor as a pickup, and exactly three layouts grow the small red one: Hillside Cavern, Ravine Grotto and Mountain Stream Grotto. Their enemies run levels 5 to 10, 12 to 15 and 20 to 23, which puts Might Remedy material inside the first few hours of a save — sixty-odd levels below the oil rigs that also pay it.
Those layouts come seeded with fixed red spots rather than random ones: 144 spots spread across 60 layouts, usually one to four per layout but nine in a handful of them, and each spot blooms roughly four visits in ten. That is a little under one red flower a clear before any other source rolls. Inside the same three caverns the other small flowers are seeded differently and it is worth knowing which you are really farming — orange Speed Lotus (S) sits on 134 spots that bloom nine visits in ten, so a run that hands you one red usually hands you two orange; green Life Lotus (S) matches red's four-in-ten across 106 spots; yellow Stamina Lotus (S) drops to three in ten across 96; and purple Carrying Lotus (S) is the runt at a single spot in each of 20 layouts.
A cavern reward point can also roll a lotus node on top of the fixed spots, and that node draws evenly between the four small flowers, so one node in four comes up red. It only exists on the medium and hard reward tiers — an easy layout has no lotus node in it whatsoever, so a run that turns up nothing is the wrong cavern grade rather than bad luck — and where it does appear it takes about one reward point in six, weight 1 against 5.5 on medium and 1 against 5 to 7 on hard. Priced in one finished Might Remedy, which is four flowers plus a Predator Core, four or five cavern clears cover it. Grade 5 oil rig crates pay 4% for a single flower, so 25 crates a flower and 100 a remedy. Recycling Ancient Relics is not a route at all: Glistening relics are the best of the five at 0.145%, on the order of 700 recycles for one flower and 2,800 for one remedy.

Using Power Lotus (S) Well
Two recipes eat this flower and they point in opposite directions. Might Remedy takes four plus a Predator Core and permanently raises your own Attack — handing it to a Pal does nothing. Power Fruit takes three and raises a Pal's Attack instead, but it also wants three Power Lotus (L) and three Speed Lotus (L), and neither of those grows where the small red does: the large red is a Cavern of the Dunes pickup and the large orange a Volcanic Cavern one. The shortcut is the Celestial Sigil raid. Both the level 50 fight and its master-grade level 80 rerun finish on a pick-one reward that offers three Power Fruit, which is worth nine of these flowers plus the nine large ones you would otherwise have to chase, and the master version re-drops its own sigil at 100% so that option repeats for free. Do not clear it for the flower itself, though — the raid's drop table pays Power Lotus (L) at 20% and never the small red.
