Where to Find Fire Radiant Gem
20 Pals drop Fire Radiant Gem when defeated or captured, which is usually the faster route if you are already out hunting — the drop list below is sorted by how reliably each one gives it up.
It also shows up as world loot — recycling Decayed Ancient Relics, recycling Dormant Ancient Relics and recycling Gorgeous Ancient Relics, and 6 more pools besides, usually 1–3 at a time. Higher-grade chests carry the better rolls, so the ones guarded by a camp are usually worth the detour.
Sending a team on the World Tree Subterrenean City Ruins and The World Tree's Forbidden Area expeditions brings some back without you leaving base.

Using Fire Radiant Gem Well
Fifty gems is only half the bill. One Fire Awakening Crystal also needs 10x World Tree Holy Water, so start banking holy water on the same World Tree trips rather than discovering the shortfall with a full stack of gems already in the box.
Ancient Relic recycling is a byproduct, not a farm. Even the best relic tier pays a gem only 4.4% of the time and one at a time, so a 50-gem crystal is roughly 1,100 Glistening relics; three or four kills off the 10-20 drop tier does the same job. Run the recycler on relics you already hoarded and get the gems themselves from Pals.
The Ancient Relic Recycler is a late-game build in its own right — 50x Paloxite Ingot, 50x Mythical Wood, 30x Ancient Civilization Parts and 20x Ancient Civilization Core — and it needs base power plus a Handiwork Pal assigned before it will process anything.
Capturing a Fire Pal pays the same drop table as killing it, so throw spheres at the World Tree's fire spawns instead of burning ammo — you keep the Pal, the Paldex entry and the 10-20 gems from a top-tier dropper in one throw.
