Where to Find Nightglow

The recipe is not on the Technology tree — it is locked behind a schematic you have to find first. The best single source is chests in the Yakushima at 1.3% per container, and the table below lists every tier and where each one drops.

The recipe below is locked behind Nightglow Schematic 4 (Nightglow Schematic 4), and there is exactly one place it comes from: the Level 80 Master tier of the Moon Lord raid, summoned with Celestial Sigil [Master]. It sits at 25% there, in a pool alongside the tier-4 schematics for the other three Yakushima weapons, so budget about four clears for the copy you want. The Level 50 version of the same raid is not a shortcut — it hands out Nightglow Schematic 2 instead, which only builds the two-star Nightglow.

The Master raid refunds its own key. Every clear drops another Celestial Sigil [Master] at 100%, so a single sigil earned from the Level 50 fight bankrolls the entire farm — you never have to go back down a tier to restock. Those same clears also cover the crafting cost sideways: 10-20 Ancient Civilization Parts guaranteed per run means the 15 Ancient Civilization Parts this build needs are paid off before the schematic even shows up.

Using Nightglow Well

The real gate on this craft is Hallowed Bar. 480 Hallowed Bars dwarfs everything else on the list — the 240 Pal Metal Ingot and 15 Ancient Civilization Parts both fall out of ordinary Yakushima play, and the raid itself pays the Parts. Line up the bar supply before you burn sigils chasing the schematic, or you will finish the farm holding a recipe you cannot build.

Do not try to climb to this version through schematic merging. Each upgrade step consumes five copies of the tier below it, and the ratio holds all the way down, so reaching Nightglow Schematic 4 from plain Nightglow Schematic copies costs 625 of them. Four Master raid clears is the honest path; merging is only worth it for the odd spare you already have sitting at tier 3.

Every Tier of Nightglow

The same piece exists at 5 rarities, and the gap is not cosmetic: attack runs 50 to 100, a 2x swing. Which one you end up with is decided by the rarity of the schematic you built from, not by the recipe — so a legendary copy of this is worth more than the next item up built from a common one.

Schematics That Unlock Nightglow

Nightglow is not learned from the Technology tree — you need a schematic for it. One schematic grants the recipe, and they are world loot — chests, boss Pals and the late-game pools — rather than anything you research. Higher-rarity copies of the same schematic raise the quality of what you end up crafting.

Fastest route. The fastest route is chests in the Yakushima, and the reason is the ladder rather than the top rung: that pool stocks every tier, so the common copies it hands you fuse upward into the one you want. Counting them, a top-tier Nightglow schematic works out at roughly 58 containers against the 80 the 4★ drop rate alone suggests. Spare low tiers are progress, not clutter. Schematics fuse five-to-one, so a lower tier with better odds can beat the top tier outright. Counts are containers of that source, not time.

Step up from here and you get Terraprisma at 110 attack; step down and it is Terraprisma at 100. The size of that step is what decides whether the crafting bill is justified yet.
