Legendary Meowmere
Weapon · WeaponMelee4★[Tides of Terraria] A legendary Meowmere forged out of Luminite Bar. Every swing throws cat projectiles that ricochet into foes.
Legendary Meowmere is 44th of 79 melee weapons by attack, at 222 against the 2,400 of Laser Sword.
Nothing is crafted from it — it is an end product, so anything you make is meant to be used rather than banked as a component.
Details
At 22 weight each it eats carry capacity fast, so bring a mount or park a chest nearby. At 15,050 gold it is worth real money to a merchant.

Where to Find Legendary Meowmere
Legendary Meowmere is not something you find lying around — you craft it, and the recipe is below.
Using Legendary Meowmere Well
The level 80 Master tier of the same raid does not include it. That fight pays out Terra Blade Schematic 4, Terraprisma Schematic 4, Vortex Beater Schematic 4 and Nightglow Schematic 4 at 25% each plus a guaranteed Moon Lord Statue Schematic, so grinding the harder version will never hand you a Meowmere. Farm the level 50 summon only.
Each level 50 clear returns a Celestial Sigil [Master] rather than another standard sigil, so one Celestial Sigil buys exactly one 22% roll. Stockpile standard sigils before you start chasing this drop — the raid does not refund the tier you need.
Legendary Meowmere is a Moon Lord raid reward. Clearing the level 50 summon rolls it at 22% for a single copy — it is the only weapon in that reward pool that arrives already built rather than as a schematic.
The same level 50 clear table also carries Moon Lord Mask at 10% and four tier-2 schematics at 25% each, alongside guaranteed Ancient Civilization Parts. The mask is the scarcer prize of the two rare rolls.
Raid Boss Rewards
Legendary Meowmere comes out of the Yakushima raid boss raid (level 50) at a 22% rate.
| Raid boss | Level | Payout |
|---|---|---|
| Yakushima raid boss | 50 | 22% · 1 each clear |
Alternatives and Upgrades
Step up from here and you get Drone Launcher at 230 attack; step down and it is Drone Launcher at 220. That gap is the honest measure of whether an upgrade is worth the materials right now.
