Until that unlock lands, the only supply is killing Woolipop in the field, which is at least reliable — every kill pays out 1-2 with no roll to fail. Once the pen is up, a captured Woolipop parked in it produces indefinitely and hands-free, which is the only version of this that scales.

Using Cotton Candy Well
Watch the variant when you stock a ranch. Woolipop Terra (Woolipop Terra) looks like the same farm and is not — it puts out Caramel Cotton Candy (Caramel Cotton Candy), a separate item that no recovery item accepts. The two are strictly split down the middle: plain Cotton Candy runs the entire medicine chain — Recovery Meds (Recovery Meds), the High Quality (High Quality Recovery Meds) and Advanced (Advanced Recovery Meds) tiers, Revival Potion (Revival Potion) — plus Extravagant Vegetable Cake (Extravagant Vegetable Cake) for breeding, while the caramel version only feeds Special Cake (Special Cake) and Nutrient Tonic (Nutrient Tonic). If your meds queue is stalled, you need the base Woolipop specifically.
Budget the ranch against the tier you actually craft. The chain scales 3, 5, 7 and 10 per unit as you climb from Recovery Meds to Revival Potion, so a stack of ten revives is 100 Cotton Candy — more than a casual pen keeps up with. Two or three Woolipop in the same ranch is the practical answer, since Cotton Candy stacks to 9999 and weighs 0.2, and there is no reason to ever stop the accumulation: the cake for breeding draws 8 a pop from the same pool.
