Where to Find Carrot
1 Pal drops Carrot when defeated or captured, which is usually the faster route if you are already out hunting — the drop list below is sorted by how reliably each one gives it up.
If you would rather just buy it, the seller is Caravan Shop at 100 Gold.
You can also grow it yourself at a Plantation — roughly 6.2 minutes per harvest for 10 at a time, which quickly beats foraging once the farm is running.
Farming carrots at home means unlocking the Carrot Plantation, which sits on the Technology tree at level 32 for 2 ordinary points. One plot costs 30 Wood, 20 Stone, 3 Carrot Seeds and 1 Aquatic Pal Fluids to place. The seeds are a one-time entry fee — once the plot is down it regrows on its own and never asks for seeds again, so there is no reason to hoard them past the first three.
A plantation is three jobs rather than one. Something at the base needs Planting to sow the row, Watering to keep it alive, and Gathering to pull the mature crop. Miss any single suitability and the plot parks itself at that stage instead of failing loudly, which is the usual reason a new farm looks planted but never produces.
For the three seeds the build wants, the Caravan Shop sells Carrot Seeds outright at 60 Gold each. Farming them is just as quick: Mossanda, Palumba and Dinossom Lux each hand over 1-2 seeds every time, and Ribbuny Botan drops one alongside the carrot itself, so a single hunting trip covers the plot with spares.
