Mammorest Curry

Food · FoodDishMeat3

Vegetables and meat simmered with spices into something deep-flavored, studded with big chunks of soft meat. Grants a temporary 25% boost to Attack.

Mammorest Curry is the strongest cooked dish in the game by hunger restored, at 418.

Nothing is crafted from it — it is an end product, so anything you make is meant to be used rather than banked as a component.

Where to Find Mammorest Curry

If you would rather just buy it, the seller is Caravan Shop at 2,040 Gold.

It also shows up as world loot — treasure chests in the Feybreak, treasure chests in the Sunreach Isle and enemy camp loot in the Sakurajima, and 2 more pools besides, usually 1–2 at a time. Higher-grade chests carry the better rolls, so the ones guarded by a camp are usually worth the detour.

Chests inside 2 caverns, including Feybreak Cavern and Sunreach Skies, can hold it as well.

Using Mammorest Curry Well

The Attack buff runs for 600 seconds — ten minutes on the dot, the same clock every cooked buff food in the game uses. What sets this bowl apart is the size of it: +25% is the largest Attack modifier any dish grants. The next rung down is 20%, shared by Mozzarina Cheeseburger, Eikthyrdeer Loco Moco and Broncherry Fried Noodles, so nothing you can cook beats a curry for raw damage.

Cooking it needs the Large-Scale Stone Oven — Technology level 49, 5 points, then 200 Cement, 200 Charcoal, 25 High Quality Wooden Board and 13 Cryogenic Coolant to actually raise the thing. A Cooking Pot or an Electric Kitchen will not take the recipe. The Ancient Kitchen at level 70 handles it too, but that is well past the point where the oven has already paid for itself.

Buying beats cooking for a long stretch of the mid game. The Caravan sells bowls at 2,040 Gold each, which puts a +25% Attack buff in your hands twenty-odd levels before the oven is unlockable — worth a stack before a tower boss if gold is the resource you have spare.

A bowl is 70,000 work at the oven and eats one Mammorest Meat apiece, so batch them ahead of a raid rather than cooking to order. Stockpile the meat on whatever Mammorest hunt you are already doing, put your strongest Kindling Pals on the oven, and eat on the approach — ten minutes is enough for a tower fight but not enough to survive the walk there as well.

Alternatives and Upgrades

Nothing in the cooked dish class beats it on hunger restored. The next one down is Cheeseburger at 338, so if you are still using that, this is the upgrade worth the materials.
