Arrow
Ammo · ConsumeBullet0★Basic shafts that any bow will fire, assembled at a Primitive Workbench.
It feeds no other recipe, which makes it a terminal item: craft what you will actually carry and stop there.
Details
It weighs almost nothing and stacks to 9,999, so there is no reason not to carry a full stack. It sells for almost nothing, so do not bother hauling it to a shop.
Arrow Crafting Recipe
Crafting it takes 4 materials across 2 types. Each craft returns 10, so the real cost per unit is lower than the list suggests.
Where to Find Arrow
2 Pals drop Arrow when defeated or captured, which is usually the faster route if you are already out hunting — the drop list below is sorted by how reliably each one gives it up.
If you would rather just buy it, the cheapest seller is Caravan Shop at 10 Gold, and 2 other shops stock it too.
It also shows up as world loot — chests in the Grasslands, treasure chests in the Grasslands and treasure chests in the Forest, and 9 more pools besides, usually 10–20 at a time. Higher-grade chests carry the better rolls, so the ones guarded by a camp are usually worth the detour.
Chests inside 4 caverns, including Hillside Cavern and Isolated Island Cavern, can hold it as well.
A Vixy on a Ranch is the only hands-off Arrow supply in the game — Vixy digs from a seven-item table and Arrow takes roughly a fifth to a quarter of every roll, second only to Pal Spheres. The haul per roll climbs with her rank: 1 Arrow at the bottom tier, 3-4 by the middle of the ladder, 5-6 past halfway and 12-13 at the top, so a levelled Vixy left on the Ranch is worth more than swapping in a fresh one. The same rolls pay out Pal Spheres, Bone and Gold, which is why she pays for the Ranch slot on her own.

Using Arrow Well
Arrow is the one ammo you should never buy. Merchants charge 10 Gold apiece, so filling out a hundred rounds costs 1,000 Gold, while the same hundred is 20 Wood and 20 Stone at a bench — two of the most common nodes on the map. Keep the Gold for the schematics and let the bench or the Ranch cover the shafts.
Weapons That Fire Arrow
25 weapons take Arrow, which makes it worth stockpiling — one crafting run supplies the whole class.
