Where to Find Carbonara

Carbonara is not something you find lying around — you craft it, and the recipe is below.

Using Carbonara Well

The Defense buff runs for exactly 600 seconds — ten minutes off one plate. That is long enough to cover an entire tower fight or a base raid, but not long enough to eat before a long flight and still have it up when you land. Swallow it at the arena door, not at the base.

A Cooking Pot will not produce it. The dish is gated behind the second tier of kitchen: Electric Kitchen at Technology level 41, which also has to be wired to a generator before it will run, and later the Large-Scale Stone Oven at 49 or the Ancient Kitchen at 70. Until you hit 41 the ingredients are the easy part and the station is the wall.

Every ingredient renews at base with no field work. Chikipi on a Ranch produces Egg and Mozzarina produces Milk, which covers four of the five slots; the last is Flour, refined from Wheat you grow yourself. Two Chikipi and two Mozzarina on the ranch will out-produce anything you can reasonably eat.

Alternatives and Upgrades

Step up from here and you get Reindrix Stew at 132 hunger restored; step down and it is Spring Rolls at 115. The size of that step is what decides whether the crafting bill is justified yet.
