Ring of Mercy
Accessory2★A pacifist's ring: attacks from whoever wears it leave targets at 1 Health rather than killing them.
Wearing it also carries the effect Mercy Hit, which matters more than the raw numbers in the biomes that punish you for the wrong outfit.
This is where the crafting chain ends — nothing downstream consumes it, so a stockpile earns you nothing.
Details
It does not stack, so every spare copy costs an inventory slot. At 16,320 gold it is worth real money to a merchant.

Where to Find Ring of Mercy
Ring of Mercy is not something you find lying around — you craft it, and the recipe is below.
Using Ring of Mercy Well
The 1 Health floor covers your own hits only. A Pal fighting beside you is not bound by it and will happily finish off the thing you were trying to weaken, so keep your Pal out of the fight — or off that target — while you soften a catch candidate.
It needs a High-Quality Workbench or better to assemble — the basic workbench will not take the recipe.
The floor also applies to raid bosses, which is a trap: a raid Pal cannot be captured, so a ring you forgot to take off means the boss simply never goes down. Unequip it before starting a raid summon.
Wearing it turns catching into a matter of patience rather than aim: you can swing freely at a rare spawn without watching its Health bar. If you have a second accessory slot open, Ability Glasses pairs well, since it tells you whether the Pal you are safely grinding down is actually worth a sphere.
What Ring of Mercy Does
Ring of Mercy grants Mercy Hit.
