The 50 Mythical Wood is the longer half: recycling Ancient Relics returns it by grade, 1-3 from a Decayed relic up to 9-11 from a Glistening one, and it turns up as a field drop around the World Tree roughly one time in five. Bank the wood while you are still levelling and the undershirt is a same-session craft the moment the research opens.
