Auri Hat is not something you find lying around — you craft it, and the recipe is below.
The hat is the first-clear reward for beating Auri & Shaolong on Hard difficulty — guaranteed on that opening clear rather than rolled, and not repeatable afterwards. The Hard rematch only opens once you have cleared the same tower on Normal, so the route is Normal clear first, then the level 80 rematch; the fight plan is on the Hard mode guide. Nothing on the Technology tree unlocks the recipe below, so the tower is where the hat actually comes from.
Using Auri Hat Well
At 20 defense and 60 HP it is a costume piece rather than gear — any crafted late-game helmet outclasses it several times over, so wear it for the look and swap back before a boss run. The 5,000 durability means it will not wear out on you between showings.
Alternatives and Upgrades
Step up from here and you get Feathered Hair Band at 21 defense; step down and it is Axel Hat at 20. How far apart those two sit tells you whether to spend now or keep what you have.
