V1 Armor

Armor · ArmorBody4

[ULTRAKILL Collab] Patterned on the Final War machine built in a distant land, with a repair system that kicks in whenever the wearer deals damage.

V1 Armor is 42nd of 145 body armours by defense, at 608 against the 1,092 of Cold-Resistant Ancient Armor.

Wearing it also carries the effects Cold Resistance Lv. 2, Heat Resistance Lv. 2, Blood Is Fuel, Attack Up (S) Lv. 4, which matters more than the raw numbers in the biomes that punish you for the wrong outfit.

This is where the crafting chain ends — nothing downstream consumes it, so a stockpile earns you nothing.

At 35 weight each it eats carry capacity fast, so bring a mount or park a chest nearby. At 114,360 gold it is worth real money to a merchant.

V1 Armor Crafting Recipe

Ingot×270
What it really costs, once every sub-recipe is expanded
Work: 12000000

Crafting it takes 360 materials across 3 types, and the bottleneck is almost always the 270× requirement — line that up first and the rest follows.

Where to Find V1 Armor

V1 Armor is not something you find lying around — you craft it, and the recipe is below.

Nothing drops this. The recipe comes from a schematic sold at the Arena shop for 1,000 Battle Ticket — a fixed listing rather than a rotating or lottery slot, so there is no boss, chest or dungeon route to it and no reason to farm for a lucky roll. Buy the schematic, then craft the armor yourself.

The legendary schematic builds at a plain Production Assembly Line — the tier-one bench, not the upgraded one. That matters against V2 Armor, whose schematic demands a Production Assembly Line II, so V1 is craftable at a base that has not been through the second workshop upgrade yet. Keep the schematic in your inventory while you build: it grants the recipe by being carried, not by being learned once, so stashing it in a chest takes the recipe back off the bench.

Using V1 Armor Well

Same ticket price as V2 Armor, different trade: V1 carries 2,112 HP to V2's 1,900, V2 leads on defense 750 to 608, and only V1 has the Blood Is Fuel lifesteal. V1 is also far the cheaper craft — 5 Ancient Civilization Parts against 10, on Ingot and High Quality Pal Oil rather than Plasteel, Pal Metal Ingot and High Quality Cloth. Durability is 72,000 either way.

The Attack Up (S) Lv. 4 on this chest piece is +12% shot attack — it lifts gun damage and nothing else, so a melee or Pal-focused build leaves a chunk of the armor's value unclaimed. V2 Armor carries the identical bonus, making it a wash between the two.

Cold Resistance Lv. 2 and Heat Resistance Lv. 2 both ride on this chest piece, so it covers the desert and the snowfield without a swap to insulated clothing — the whole point of a legendary body slot is that you never take it off. V2 Armor matches it here as well, so climate is not the tiebreaker between them.

At 1,000 tickets it ties V2 Armor for the cheapest legendary schematic on that shelf. The Marksman Revolver and Core Eject Shotgun schematics are 1,300, and the legendary Energy Shotgun, Charge Rifle and Overheat Rifle schematics are 1,500 each — so a first arena payout buys body armor a good while before it buys a legendary gun.

You do not have to wait for arena tickets to wear the Final War plating. The common-rarity V1 Armor comes off the ULTRAKILL Collab Set 1 ancient technology at level 32 for 3 Ancient Technology Points, carries the same Blood Is Fuel repair, and costs 30 Ingot with 15 High Quality Pal Oil — no Ancient Civilization Parts at all. It is a stopgap, not a substitute: 51 defense and 806 HP against the legendary's 608 and 2,112, 1,450 durability against 72,000, and only the Lv. 1 cold and heat resistances.

What V1 Armor Does

V1 Armor grants Cold Resistance Lv. 2: Temperature Resist Cold +2.

V1 Armor grants Heat Resistance Lv. 2: Temperature Resist Heat +2.

V1 Armor grants Blood Is Fuel: Life Steal +1.

V1 Armor grants Attack Up (S) Lv. 4: Shot Attack +12.

Schematics That Unlock V1 Armor

The Technology tree hands you the plain V1 Armor at level 32 for 3 Ancient Technology points, but nothing above that base version — the rarer builds are schematic-only. One schematic grants the recipe, and they are world loot — chests, boss Pals and the late-game pools — rather than anything you research. Higher-rarity copies of the same schematic raise the quality of what you end up crafting.

Alternatives and Upgrades

Plasteel Armor sits just above it at 616 defense — only 8 more, close enough that it is a sidegrade rather than an upgrade. The next real step is Hexolite Armor at 638; below it is Cold Resistant Plasteel Armor at 600.
