Using Chikipi Cap Well
This is not a pure cosmetic. The cap carries Neutral Damage Reduction Lv. 1, which takes 15% off every point of Neutral damage that reaches you, and it is flagged always-active — no HP threshold, no stance, no partner Pal condition, it simply runs while the hat is on your head. That is the same 15% line the Lv. 1 resistance accessories give, on a slot that usually only trades raw defence.
Because it needs no technology point, no workbench and no schematic, this is the cheapest way to put an element resistance on a fresh character — the coins are the only gate, and Mimog can be farmed long before you have the tech levels for crafted resistance headgear. Treat it as the Neutral slot in a swapped hat set rather than a permanent helmet: 20 defence is modest, so once a fight is not built on Neutral damage the 15% stops paying for the stat gap.
