Using Icelyn Hat Well
The hat carries Ice Damage Reduction Lv. 1, and the number behind that label is 15 percent off every point of Ice damage that lands on you. It runs unconditionally — no charge-up, no mounted or base-camp clause, no cooldown — so the moment it is in the head slot the cut is live. Twenty defense and 60 HP is a cosmetic shell by the time the Arena opens to you; the 15 percent is the whole reason to give up a real helmet for it.
Check your chest piece before you spend the tickets. Every Cold Resistant body armour in the game — Cold Resistant Pelt Armor through Cold-Resistant Ancient Armor, and every refinement tier of each — already carries that identical Lv. 1 rung, and that is exactly the armour you are wearing in the frozen north where Ice attackers live. If you want a deeper cut rather than a second copy of the same rung, the ladder continues in the accessory slots, which do not compete with your head: Ring of Ice Resistance sits at Lv. 3 for 30 percent, and Wumpo Charm at Lv. 4 for 35 percent on top of its cold protection.
Ice is the one element in the 80-ticket hat row you can get in the head slot without touching the Arena at all. Sibelyx Hat is the same 20 defense, 60 HP, 300 durability shell with the same Ice Damage Reduction Lv. 1 on it, and the Medal Shop sells it for 25 Dog Coins. If you are buying this hat for the resistance rather than the look, that is the cheaper counter — save the 80 tickets for something the Arena is the only source of.
