Where to Find Tetroise Primo Saddle
Tetroise Primo Saddle is not something you find lying around — you craft it, and the recipe is below.
Using Tetroise Primo Saddle Well
Stone-Chaser Archelon is a repair-bill skill, not a riding buff, and the saddle is what switches it on. With it equipped and Tetroise Primo out at your side, the durability your weapons and armour would lose is cut by 80% — and condensing raises that to 84, 88, 92 and finally 100, which is the rung where the wear stops altogether. Riding is not part of the condition: the numbers run the same whether you are in the seat or walking beside it. What does break it is putting the Pal anywhere else — a Tetroise Primo assigned to a base work slot, or sitting in the party without being the one deployed, protects nothing.
The protection is written as two separate entries, one scoped to weapons and one to armour, so it covers guns, melee weapons, head gear, body armour and shields alike. One carve-out is spelled out by name: all six fishing rods are excluded, so an afternoon of fishing wears the rod down at the usual rate no matter how far you have condensed the Pal. Nothing outside those two equipment classes is read at all — gliders, accessories and spheres sit in their own categories and the skill never touches them.
This is the only partner skill in the game that touches equipment durability at all, which is what makes a level-75, 4-point saddle worth building for a player who never intends to ride anything — it is a maintenance item first. Only 28 of the 588 Technology entries unlock at level 75 or higher, so expect to have your endgame armour set long before you can protect it, and to be paying full repair costs on it in the meantime. Note also that the plain Tetroise Saddle is not a cheaper version of this: that one's skill is a Mining work bonus for the base, while this one does nothing whatsoever for production. If you want both effects you gear both Pals.
Tetroise Primo Saddle — Tetroise Primo's Gear
Tetroise Primo Saddle is Tetroise Primo's own gear — no other Pal can equip it, and Tetroise Primo cannot be ridden or put to work in its geared role until you have this in your inventory.
Equipping it turns on Tetroise Primo's partner skill, Stone-Chaser Archelon.
Tetroise Primo is Neutral, which is what decides where it is worth taking — the gear does not change its typing, only what you can do with it.
