Crafting it takes 4 materials across 3 types.

Where to Find Paloxite Ingot

Paloxite Ingot is not something you find lying around — you craft it, and the recipe is below.

Paloxite is the bottleneck at two per ingot, and you do not have to strip-mine the World Tree for it. The Ancient Relic Recycler pays out by relic grade — 1-3 from a Decayed relic, 3-5 from a Dormant, 5-7 from a Gorgeous, 7-9 from a Glowing — and the World Tree Subterranean City Ruins expedition returns 15-30 per run on Hard in 60 minutes. Relics you are already hoarding for ancient technology points convert straight into ingot stock.

The other two inputs come from opposite ends of the map, so batch them. Soralite has 226 mining nodes across Palpagos plus a 30-40 supply drop on Sunreach Isle and a 30-50 return from the Sunreach Isle expedition; World Tree Holy Water only turns up as field loot in the World Tree, 5-10 at a time. One holy water per ingot means a World Tree sweep sets your ceiling for the batch — count the flasks before you queue the furnace.

Using Paloxite Ingot Well

None of the four furnaces you built on the way up will take this recipe. It smelts only at the Ancient Furnace, which sits at technology level 66 and costs 100 Coralum Ingot, 30 Computer, 20 Thermal Core and 10 Ancient Civilization Core to raise — so the real gate on your first ingot is having beaten enough tower bosses to spare ten cores.

The Ancient Furnace draws 3,000 power and works by melting with fire and then flash-cooling with ice, so it wants Kindling and Cooling on the same job. Exactly one Pal in the game carries both: Whalaska Ignis, at Kindling 5 and Cooling 6. Without it you are stationing a pair — one fire Pal, one ice Pal — per furnace, which is what makes a second and third furnace expensive in base slots rather than in materials.
