This tier is gated behind its own schematic rather than a technology unlock, and the wandering merchant who sells Graduation Cap schematics stocks only the base one. The rarity-4 schematic has to be found rather than bought.

Using Graduation Cap Well

The cap is not purely defensive — it carries a built-in passive that raises the wearer's own crafting speed by 10%. Leave it equipped while you work a bench and everything you handcraft finishes faster.

That 10% is the same on all five Graduation Cap tiers, from the common version up to this one. Climbing the rarity ladder buys defense, HP and durability and nothing else — a cheap early cap gives you an identical crafting bonus, so there is no work-speed reason to chase this tier.

Queue this one early in a session: it carries sixteen times the crafting work of the common Graduation Cap, so it will occupy a bench for a long stretch. Staff that bench with your best Handiwork pals first. The consolation is that it pays out several times the crafting EXP of any lower tier of the same cap.
