Swee Cap
Armor · ArmorHead4★A cap modeled on a Swee.
Swee Cap is an early head piece: 148th of 202 by defense, so treat it as a stepping stone, at 20 against the 650 of Ancient Helm.
Wearing it also carries the effect Dark Damage Reduction Lv. 1, which matters more than the raw numbers in the biomes that punish you for the wrong outfit.
This is where the crafting chain ends — nothing downstream consumes it, so a stockpile earns you nothing.
Details
It does not stack, so every spare copy costs an inventory slot.
Where to Find Swee Cap
Swee Cap is not something you find lying around — you craft it, and the recipe is below.
Using Swee Cap Well
The cap carries a passive the stat block does not show: while it is equipped, Dark damage you take is reduced by 15%. That is the whole reason to wear it over a plain helmet of the same defence — as head protection alone, 20 defence is entry-level gear.
22 Swee Hair is a real farm. Swee drops one at a 50% rate, so budget roughly 44 kills, or buy the hair from the Caravan Shop at 500 Gold apiece — 11,000 Gold all in, eleven times what the finished cap is worth. Farming the Pal is the only sane route.
Do not assume the resistance carries over from the common version. The base Swee Cap resists Ice; every tier above it, this one included, resists Dark instead. If you built the common cap to survive an ice fight, upgrading it hands you a different element and leaves you cold-exposed.
All five Swee Cap tiers share the same 20 defence and 60 HP. The only thing rarity buys is durability — 300 on the common up to 1,200 here — so the upgrade is about how long the hat lasts between repairs, not how hard it hits. If you are only wearing it for the Dark resistance, the cheaper tiers give you the identical 15% cut.
The craft is 160,000 work, sixteen times the common version's 10,000. Stock the bench and put your best Handiwork Pals on it before you walk away; hand-cranking this one is a long stand.
Every Tier of Swee Cap
The same piece exists at 5 rarities, and the gap is not cosmetic: defense runs 20 to 20, a 1x swing. Which one you end up with is decided by the rarity of the schematic you built from, not by the recipe — so a legendary copy of this is worth more than the next item up built from a common one.
What Swee Cap Does
Swee Cap grants Dark Damage Reduction Lv. 1: Element Resist Dark +15.
Alternatives and Upgrades
Saya Hat matches it exactly at 20 defense — those two differ in what they resist and what they weigh, not in raw defense, so picking between them is a swap rather than an upgrade. The next real step is Feathered Hair Band at 21; below it is Victor Hat at 20.
