Where to Find Lamball Effigy

Thirty of them are placed on the map, all on the main island, and you only need 20 — so ten can be missed with no cost to the maxed bonus. Turn on the Pal Effigies layer on the interactive map and sweep them as you pass rather than making a dedicated trip.

Using Lamball Effigy Well

The description does not say which ability it improves: Lamball Effigies feed the Hunger Reduction ladder and nothing else. It runs 20 ranks, costs one effigy per rank, and ends at 50% slower hunger drain for your character. Effigy species are locked to their own track, so these cannot be spent on capture power the way a Lifmunk Effigy can — and the reverse is equally true, which is why a stack of green ones does not help your food bar.

You hand them in at a Statue of Power. There are pre-placed ones out in the world at the church landmarks — Desolate Church, Sea Breeze Archipelago Church, Marsh Island Church Ruins and Isle of Silence Church Ruins — but the far simpler route is the buildable version, which unlocks on the Technology tree at level 9 for 2 points and can sit in your own base. Once one is planted at home you never need to travel to offer.

Half hunger drain is worth most on long trips away from a cooking base: mining runs, tower approaches and anything in the desert or snowfields, where a full food bar is the difference between arriving fed and arriving at half stamina. It is a per-player bonus on co-op servers, so every member hunts their own thirty.
