Where to Find Rooby Effigy
Thirty are placed in the world against the 20 the ladder needs, so ten can be missed. Every single one is in the northern snowfields — none in the grasslands, the desert, the volcano or the World Tree — which makes the jump upgrade a cold-weather errand you cannot start until you have cold protection and the Astral Mountains stones unlocked.
Counted by the fast-travel stone you would warp to, the thirty break down as: No Man's Trail 5, Land of Absolute Zero 5, Unthawable Lake 4, and three each around Garden Beneath the Astral Mountains, Cold Shore and Icy Weasel Hill, two each near the PAL Genetic Research Unit Tower Entrance, Thawtide Cape and Garden Beneath the Cliffs, plus one by Pristine Snow Field. The four shortest walks are roughly 92 m from Garden Beneath the Astral Mountains, 99 m and 104 m from Cold Shore, and 116 m from Unthawable Lake.
Using Rooby Effigy Well
Offered at a Statue of Power, this effigy buys jump power and nothing else — no other collectible feeds that track, and a Rooby Effigy cannot be spent anywhere else. The ladder is 20 ranks at exactly one effigy per rank, worth +2.5% jump power each, so rank 20 leaves you jumping 50% higher than a fresh character. Misspent nothing is at stake anyway: resetting any effigy track costs a single gold coin.
Three warps cover most of the ladder: No Man's Trail, Land of Absolute Zero and Unthawable Lake sit closest to 14 of the 20 you need. Bring a flying mount — the two near the research-unit tower sit around 490 m and 570 m up, and the Land of Absolute Zero cluster ranges from 170 m to 410 m, all on mountain shelves rather than on the walkable snow. Unlock the buildable Statue of Power at technology level 9 and you can hand the whole haul in at your own base instead of hiking back to a ruined church statue.
