Where to Find Cattiva Effigy

Every single one is inside the World Tree. We counted 30 placed in the world and all 30 sit past the seal — none on the main island, none on Feybreak, none on Sunreach. If you are burning through stamina on the mainland, this ladder is not available to you yet at any price; it opens only after Panthalus goes down.

Inside the tree they are scattered, not stacked. Thirteen of the region's fifteen fast-travel stones have at least one nearby and no stone has more than four, so this is a warp-and-sweep collection rather than one dense route — eight of the 30 sit within about 70 m of a stone, including one roughly 13 m from The Verdant Rootpath and another under 20 m from Shinespore Root. Pull up the World Tree effigy layer before you start; the World Tree is easy to lose your bearings in.

Using Cattiva Effigy Well

The statue takes these for exactly one thing: the stamina-drain ladder. It runs 20 ranks at one effigy per rank, and the top rank cuts drain by 50%. That is a flat 20 pickups for the whole track, with no scaling cost curve like the Lifmunk capture ladder has — so unlike capture power, there is no reason to spend these one at a time. Bank them and cash the whole ladder in one visit. Every track and its exact numbers are in the effigy upgrade guide.

Height is the real obstacle, not distance. The 30 are spread across a vertical range from roughly 75 m up to 444 m, so a ground route reaches almost none of them — bring a flier and expect to be circling branches. The joke writes itself: the effigy that pays for less stamina drain is the one you need mount stamina to collect.

You get slack here that the four-piece tracks do not give you. Thirty exist and twenty finish the ladder, so ten can be written off — skip anything perched somewhere annoying and come back only if you run short. Compare Lunaris, Relaxaurus and Yakumo, where the world holds exactly as many as the ladder costs and one missed pickup is a permanent rank.
