Lightweight Hexolite Armor

Armor · ArmorBody4

An upgraded take on Hexolite Armor that raises how much the wearer can carry.

Lightweight Hexolite Armor is 23rd of 145 body armours by defense, at 780 against the 1,092 of Cold-Resistant Ancient Armor.

Wearing it also carries the effects Cold Resistance Lv. 2, Heat Resistance Lv. 2, Max Carrying Capacity Lv. 3, Attack Up (S) Lv. 4, which matters more than the raw numbers in the biomes that punish you for the wrong outfit.

This is where the crafting chain ends — nothing downstream consumes it, so a stockpile earns you nothing.

At 40 weight each it eats carry capacity fast, so bring a mount or park a chest nearby. At 930,000 gold it is worth real money to a merchant.

Lightweight Hexolite Armor Crafting Recipe

Work: 38400000

Crafting it takes 287 materials across 5 types, and the bottleneck is almost always the 200× requirement — line that up first and the rest follows.

Where to Find Lightweight Hexolite Armor

The recipe is not on the Technology tree — it is locked behind a schematic you have to find first. The best single source is treasure map digs (tier 5) at 0.6% per container, and the table below lists every tier and where each one drops.

Using Lightweight Hexolite Armor Well

The schematic is only half the requirement. Lightweight Hexolite Armor is one technology entry on the tree, taken at level 65 for 5 ordinary Technology Points, and every rarity of the piece hangs off that single unlock — the drop in your bag changes what the recipe produces, it does not add a second entry to research. So the order is level 65 first, points spent, then the schematic is worth pulling out.

Budget the labour before you queue it. This build is 38,400,000 work against 1,200,000 for the plain version off the same technology — thirty-two times the job for one chest piece, and more work than any Legendary ancient chest piece, which the Ancient Workbench finishes in 16,000,000. It is a job you start and walk away from, so the Handiwork ratings on your base crew decide whether it lands this session or the next one. The Ancient Civilization Parts are a schematic-tier tax too: the common recipe asks for none at all, and the Legendary wants 7.

If carrying capacity is the only thing you came for, stop at the common version. Every rarity of this armour — common through Legendary — carries the same Max Carrying Capacity Lv. 3, and holds Cold and Heat Resistance at Lv. 2 either way. The Legendary does not raise the carry bonus by a single tier. What the schematic tiers actually buy is a fourth passive slot filled with accuracy, plus 780 defence against 600 and 2,275 HP against 1,750.

The durability gap is the quiet argument for the Legendary. 72,000 against the common version's 18,000 means four times as long between repair trips, and repairs cost Hexolite you would rather be spending elsewhere at this tier. The only step up from here on carrying capacity is Lightweight Ancient Armor, which pushes the bonus to Lv. 4 — but that one is locked behind the Ancient Workbench and 14 AI Cores, so this is the piece you actually wear while you are working towards it.

Every Tier of Lightweight Hexolite Armor

The same piece exists at 5 rarities, and the gap is not cosmetic: defense runs 600 to 780, a 1.3x swing. Which one you end up with is decided by the rarity of the schematic you built from, not by the recipe — so a legendary copy of this is worth more than the next item up built from a common one.

What Lightweight Hexolite Armor Does

Lightweight Hexolite Armor grants Attack Up (S) Lv. 4: Shot Attack +12.

Schematics That Unlock Lightweight Hexolite Armor

The Technology tree hands you the plain Lightweight Hexolite Armor at level 65 for 5 Technology points, but nothing above that base version — the rarer builds are schematic-only. One schematic grants the recipe, and they are world loot — chests, boss Pals and the late-game pools — rather than anything you research. Higher-rarity copies of the same schematic raise the quality of what you end up crafting.

Fastest route. Two routes to the top-tier Lightweight Hexolite Armor schematic, and they are not measured in the same thing: about 33 kills hunting it directly from paladius (alpha), or roughly 70 containers farming the 3★ copy from sea base enemy camp boss stashes in the Feybreak and fusing five. Which is faster depends on how long one of each takes you. Schematics fuse five-to-one, so a lower tier with better odds can beat the top tier outright. Counts are containers of that source, not time.

Alternatives and Upgrades

Heat Resistant Hexolite Armor matches it exactly at 780 defense — those two differ in what they resist and what they weigh, not in raw defense, so picking between them is a swap rather than an upgrade. The next real step is Ancient Armor at 800; below it is Hexolite Armor at 754.
