All Egg Locations: Every Nest and Best Farm Routes — Palworld Database

Pal eggs sit in nests scattered across Palpagos, and there are 1,816 of them — none marked on your in-game map. This guide places every nest by region, ranks the fast travel statues by how many sit within flying distance, and gives five farming loops with the coordinates of every stop.

All Egg Locations at a Glance

Nests are wildly unevenly spread. Feybreak alone holds 567 of them — nearly a third of every nest in the game — while the Desiccated Dunes and the starting Windswept Hills carry barely 120 each. Nests also come in four grades, and the grade decides which list of Pals the egg rolls on, so a Grade 3 nest in the eastern forest and a Grade 1 nest on Feybreak are completely different farms. Every row below opens our Palworld interactive map with the matching nest layer already switched on.

Two entries are worth more attention than their raw counts suggest. The Forest and Bamboo Groves band is the only place Grade 3 and Grade 4 nests exist at all, and those two grades hold the tightest Pal lists on Palpagos — fewer possible hatches means much better odds on the one you actually want. Feybreak is the opposite trade: enormous volume with a wide, diluted list, except for its 71 Grade 2 nests, which are the best alpha source in the game by a mile. The full egg hatch list has the exact per-Pal odds for every one of these pools.

How Egg Nests Work

A nest is a one-time pickup that regrows on a timer. Loot it and the same spot produces another egg three hours later, which is what makes a fixed loop worth memorising — you are not hunting spawns, you are harvesting a field. Nothing about the pickup is gated: any nest can be looted at level 1 if you can physically survive the walk to it, and low-level players regularly steal Mount Obsidian eggs by gliding in and out.

What decides the PalThe region and grade of the nest, not the egg colour

The weight line is the one that ends most runs early. Eggs never stack, so a full 78-nest loop is 78 inventory slots and 780 weight if every shell is a standard one — closer to 3,900 if you get lucky and they all come out huge. Bring a hauling partner or accept that a long route is two trips.

TipEggs picked up in the wild can hatch alpha Pals — the oversized boss versions — which breeding can never produce. The rate is a rounding error in most pools, but Feybreak's Grade 2 nests roll one just over half the time. If you want a specific alpha without fighting it, that is the farm.

Best Places to Farm Eggs

A nest route only works if the nests are packed tight enough that you never stop flying. The table below ranks every fast travel statue by how many nests sit within roughly 550 m of it — about fifteen seconds on a fast mount — so each row is a warp point you can land on and clear without ever opening the map again. Divide the nest count by three and you have eggs per hour, since everything regrows on the same 180-minute clock.

Mount Obsidian - Midpoint-497, -4445747 Grade 2, 10 Grade 1Obsidian Grade 2 has the shortest Pal list on Palpagos, so hatches are predictable
Desolate Church63, -4174842 Grade 1, 6 Grade 2The best route you can run before level 20
Small Settlement74, -4864747 Grade 1Starter loop on flat ground with a merchant and a bed at the start of it

Read the top of that table as two different games. Frostbound Mountains Summit wins on quality — Grade 3 and Grade 4 nests draw from short Pal lists, so a specific hatch there is several times more likely than the same hatch out of a Feybreak nest. The Oculus Gate wins on throughput and alphas, but you need to have opened Feybreak first. Everything between them is a compromise, and No Man's Trail is the best one: 75 nests, no region gate, and a walkable altitude that does not need a late-game saddle.

Frostbound Mountains Summit: The Best-Odds Loop

This is the route to run if you want a particular Pal rather than a pile of eggs. All 26 Grade 4 nests in the game sit in this band, and Grade 4 rolls a list of only 15 Pals — the shortest odds spread on Palpagos. The 52 Grade 3 nests around them are nearly as good. The loop below starts at the statue and runs a clockwise circuit through the ridge and back down the western slope.

Twelve stops is about a third of what is in range — keep flying past the last one and you will pick up another 60-odd nests before the first ones tick back. If you want to extend rather than repeat, the Grade 3 and 4 layers show that the same band continues south to Sealed Realm of the Mystic and east to Sealed Realm of the Swift, and all three loops connect.

The Oculus Gate: The Highest-Volume Loop

Feybreak's Grade 1 pool is the biggest in the game — 496 nests feeding a 37-Pal list that leans heavily on Dark-type Noct variants. Odds on any single Pal are thin, so treat this as a volume farm: you are here for twenty eggs an hour, not for one specific hatch. The Pals patrolling the route are level 60-plus, so bring gear before you bring inventory space.

The loop closes near Hidden Passage to the Oculus Gate at -1047, -1255, which has another 67 nests in range with only a small overlap. Running the two together is the single biggest egg haul available in one sitting — roughly 145 nests, or about 48 eggs an hour once the respawns are staggered.

Feybreak Tower Entrance: The Alpha Loop

Feybreak's Grade 2 nests behave unlike anything else in the game: just over half of what they produce hatches as an alpha, because most entries in that pool are alpha rolls rather than normal Pals. Only 71 of those nests exist, and this statue has more of them in range than anywhere else — 18, alongside 14 ordinary Grade 1 nests. It is a smaller haul than the Oculus Gate loop and a far better one if alphas are the point.

Alphas from an egg are identical to the ones you would otherwise hunt down in the field — same oversized frame, same stat potential as a regular catch. If you would rather take yours the traditional way, the alpha Pal hunting route lists every field boss in level order.

No Man's Trail: The Best Mid-Game Loop

The Astral Mountains are the sweet spot between the starter hills and the endgame islands: 75 nests in range, no region unlock, and a pool that is Ice-heavy enough to be the main source of Frozen Eggs. Cold-weather armour is the only requirement, and the terrain is open, which makes this the easiest route to fly on a mid-tier saddle.

Icy Weasel Hill at 4, 185 sits inside the northern half of this loop with another 73 nests in range, so the two routes are really one long circuit. Push north-east from stop 8 and you pick that cluster up without backtracking; the combined sweep is over 140 nests and rivals Feybreak without any of the level requirements.

Small Settlement: The Starter Loop

You can farm eggs from your first hour. The flats around Small Settlement hold 47 Grade 1 nests on open, level ground with no climate damage and nothing above the low teens wandering through. This is the loop to run on foot or on a first flying mount while you are still building your incubator, and the Grade 1 Windswept pool is the widest on the map at 45 Pals, so it fills a Paldex quickly.

Desolate Church at 63, -417 covers the next band north with 48 more nests, and the two together are basically the whole starting region. Neither route needs a mount to complete — it just takes longer, and the three-hour respawn means there is no rush anyway.

Where the Rare Egg Types Spawn

Nine of the eleven egg types are element eggs, and they come from whatever the local nest pool happens to be holding — Mount Obsidian throws Scorching Eggs, the Snowfields throw Frozen Eggs, Feybreak throws Dark Eggs. The two that behave differently are the ones players actually hunt for, and only one of them has a location at all.

Ominous EggWorld Tree nests only — nowhere on Palpagos3010% per nest
Mutated EggBreeding Farm only — never spawns in a nest0Breeding roll
Dragon EggAny pool holding a Dragon Pal, thinnest list in the game13 Pals across all pools
Dark EggFeybreak above all — 43 Dark Pals sit in nest pools567Widest element pool

The Ominous Egg is the only nest-locked type, and the World Tree's 30 nests are the entire supply. Roughly one nest in ten hands you one instead of a normal element egg, so a full sweep is about three. The loop below covers the western cluster and works east; every stop is a nest, and there is no grade sorting to do because all 30 are the same tier.

Getting up there is the hard part rather than the route itself — the tree is gated behind its gate fight, covered in the Panthalus boss guide. Once you are in, the full Ominous Egg breakdown has all 42 Pals the pool can produce with their exact odds.

Best Mounts for a Nest Run

Nest running is almost entirely travel time, so the mount matters more than your gear. Any flyer works — nests are picked up from the ground, and the awkward ones are on cliff shelves and rooftops that you simply cannot reach on foot. The three below are the natural upgrades at each stage, and the saddle level is the real gate, not the catch.

MountSaddle levelSprint speedWhy bring it
Nitewing15750The first flying saddle in the game — enough for the Small Settlement and Desolate Church loops
Ragnahawk331,300Nearly double Nitewing's speed and the fastest flyer anyone can saddle before level 52
Jetragon793,300The fastest mount in the game — turns the 145-nest Feybreak double loop into a single sitting

Jetragon is the obvious endgame answer and also the least available one, since the saddle needs level 79. Until then Ragnahawk carries the whole mid-game: its saddle unlocks at 33 and nothing with a saddle below level 52 flies faster, so it covers every route on this page except the Feybreak double loop comfortably. Full speed rankings are in the best flying mounts guide.

How Many Eggs You Can Actually Get

Because every nest is on the same 180-minute clock, a route's ceiling is fixed: nests in range, divided by three, is eggs per hour. That number is the honest way to compare loops, and it is why chaining two neighbouring statues beats re-running one — you are not waiting on the timer, you are moving to nests that have already ticked over.

RouteNests in rangeEggs per hourWeight per full sweep
Oculus Gate + Hidden Passage145≈481,450 at standard size
No Man's Trail + Icy Weasel Hill140≈471,400 at standard size
Frostbound Mountains Summit7826780 at standard size
The Oculus Gate alone7826780 at standard size
Eternal Pyre Tower Entrance5920590 at standard size
Small Settlement4716470 at standard size
World Tree (all 30 nests)3010300, of which ≈3 are Ominous

Weight is what caps the sweep, not the timer. A 145-nest double loop is 1,450 weight of standard eggs before a single large or huge shell shows up, which no unbuffed carry limit survives — plan on emptying into a chest partway, or run the loop with a hauling partner out. The other half of the bottleneck is incubators: one egg per basic incubator means a 48-per-hour route backs up almost immediately, and the Large Incubator at level 48 is the build that unblocks it.

TipNests do not respawn while you are standing next to them, and the three-hour timer starts at pickup rather than on a server-wide schedule. That means the efficient pattern is one big sweep, then several hours doing something else — hovering around a cleared cluster waiting for individual nests to pop is the slowest possible way to farm eggs.

Summary

There are 1,816 egg nests in Palworld and they all regrow three hours after you take them. Farm Frostbound Mountains Summit if you want specific Pals, since Grade 3 and Grade 4 nests have the shortest hatch lists in the game. Farm the Oculus Gate on Feybreak if you want volume, and its neighbour Feybreak Tower Entrance if what you actually want is alphas. No Man's Trail is the best route with no unlock requirement, Small Settlement is the one you can run at level 5, and the World Tree's 30 nests are the only source of Ominous Eggs anywhere.
