Astral Mountains Cavern Guide: Pals, Bosses, and Loot

Astral Mountains Cavern is the snowfield dungeon — level 38–44 corridors under a level 42–45 boss chamber. Fire Pals shred the ice types that dominate here, and the reward for braving the cold is twofold: the best refrigeration staff in the game, and chests that start dropping Gold Keys. The other nine caverns live on the List of All Dungeons.

The Cold Crew in the Corridors

Expect ice and dark types at level 38–44 — and don't sleep on Reptyro Cryst: Cooling 5 makes it one of the best refrigerator Pals in the game, and here it's just walking the halls. Polapup and Whalaska swim the frigid pools.

A Boss Pool Full of Fridge Staff

One of these 19 spawns oversized in the boss room at level 42–45. If your base food keeps rotting, this is your fix: Wumpo (Cooling 5) and Sibelyx (Cooling 3, and it makes medicine too) both roll here. Riders get Suzaku Aqua and Vanwyrm Cryst as flying options, and Mammorest Cryst is simply a monster.
