Tides of Terraria Islands: All 7 Locations and Loot — Palworld Database

The Tides of Terraria update dropped seven small islands into the ocean around Palpagos, and most players only ever find the one with the dungeon on it. This page gives you the map coordinates for all seven, the closest statue to launch from, how far the crossing is, the level of everything that lives there, and what each island is genuinely worth farming.

All 7 Tides of Terraria Islands

Six of the seven get their own name on your map the moment you touch their statue. The seventh is the odd one out: the island that holds the Sealed Realm of Terraria is actually called the Isle of Eternal Summer, but its statue takes the dungeon's name instead, so the island's own name never shows up while you play. Ordering them by what spawns on them turns the set into a clean ladder — a level 1 beach at one end, a level 60 field boss at the other — and that is a far better visiting order than going by distance. Every crossing below is measured from the nearest mainland statue, so the number is the water you actually have to get over.

Pin them all in one go with the fast travel layer on the interactive map — the seven island statues sit well clear of the main landmass, so they are easy to spot once the layer is on. Sunlit Isle is the one to grab first: it is a level 1-10 island parked a short swim east of the starting region, which means you can bank a statue there long before anything on it can hurt you.

What to Bring

None of the seven are gated behind a quest, a key or a boss kill. The only real requirement is a mount that crosses open water, because every island is a genuine sea crossing rather than a shoreline you can wade to. Once a statue is lit you never have to make that swim again, so the smart play is a single sweep that touches all seven statues while you are already geared for the hardest one, then fast travelling back whenever you actually need something.

The short checklist before you set out:

  • A flying or swimming mount. The crossings run from 349 m to the Sealed Realm up to 1,084 m to Frostbitten Isle — see the best flying mounts and their speeds if you want the fastest option.
  • Spheres matched to the island. A level 10 sphere loadout is wasted on the Isle of the Glacial Core, where nothing spawns under level 50.
  • Touch the statue the second you land. It is the whole point of the trip; the loot is a bonus.
  • Empty inventory slots. Sunlit Isle alone carries 31 loot caches and the islands are cache-dense for their size.

Island Locations, One by One

Each island runs its own small spawn set rather than borrowing the mainland's, which is why they feel so distinct despite being tiny. Below is where each one sits, how to get to it, what lives on it, and what is worth picking up while you are there. The counts are for the island itself and the water immediately around it — not the mainland behind you.

Sunlit Isle

Sunlit Isle sits at 386, -463, east of the starting region and just south of Marsh Island, and it is the gentlest island of the seven by a wide margin. Everything that spawns on the sand is level 1 to 10Herbil and Finsider and nothing else — so a fresh character can land here safely and light the statue on day one. The water around it is the busiest of any island: Jelliette, Turtacle, Celaray, Pengullet and Kelpsea through the day, with Jellroy swapping in after dark.

It is also the single richest island for loot per square metre:

  • 31 loot caches — the most on any of the seven
  • 5 Elemental-Sealed Chests — again the most, out of 109 on the whole map
  • 6 oil fields, tied with Oasis Isle for the most, and startlingly close to the starting area
  • 2 Kinship Peach trees
  • 6 fishing spots, 2 of them rare

Isle of Decayed Treasures

The wreck island sits at 610, -161, southeast of the Eastern Wild Island statue and only 392 m across the water — the second-shortest crossing on this list. Its own spawns are level 10 to 20, Gloopie and Turtacle crawling over the hull, but the reason to remember it is what circles it: 13.6% of every Azurobe spawn point in the game sits in this island's water, making it one of the three best places on the map to hunt one.

The wreck itself carries 7 treasure chests drawn from the forest loot table, 4 Elemental-Sealed Chests, 23 loot caches, a Grade 1 egg nest and 2 Kinship Peach trees. For a level 10-20 island a stone's throw from the mainland, that is an unusually good haul, and the short crossing means it is one of the few islands you can realistically farm on repeat.

Frostbitten Isle

Frostbitten Isle is at -80, -949, southwest of the Sea Breeze Archipelago, and it is the hardest of the seven to reach — 1,084 m of open water from the Castaway Beach statue, three times the crossing to the Sealed Realm. What you find on the far side is a modest level 10 to 20 iceberg: Jelliette, Jolthog Cryst, Munchill and Pengullet, with a single Penking at level 22-25 acting as the island's heavyweight.

Loot is thin compared to the tropical islands — 8 loot caches, 3 Elemental-Sealed Chests, 2 Kinship Peach trees and 2 fishing spots. The one genuinely useful thing here is 7 Pure Quartz nodes, the only mineral worth stopping for on either of the two iceberg islands. Go once, light the statue, and treat the trip as a Kinship Peach stop from then on.

Phantom Isle

Phantom Isle is the western wreck, at -886, -186, roughly 841 m northwest of the Mount Obsidian Trail statue. Its spawns jump to level 30 to 40Jellroy and Ghangler in packs of three to five — and 14.2% of every Ghangler spawn point on the map is here, which makes it one of the better places to farm one outside the Secluded Cemetery. After dark the surrounding water fills with subspecies: Pengullet Lux, Penking Lux, Kelpsea Ignis and Finsider Ignis all circle it.

The wreck's chests are the standout. Phantom Isle carries 7 treasure chests pulling from the Mount Obsidian loot table — the best chest table of any of the seven islands, sitting on an island whose Pals cap out at level 40. Add 27 loot caches, 3 Elemental-Sealed Chests and 2 Kinship Peach trees and it is the strongest mid-game stop on the list.

Isle of Eternal Summer and the Sealed Realm of Terraria

This is the island everybody actually finds, because it is the one the crossover funnels you toward. It sits at -422, -796, southeast of Fisherman's Point, and the crossing is only 349 m — the shortest of the seven. The statue reads Sealed Realm of Terraria after the dungeon, but the island underneath it is the Isle of Eternal Summer, and the dungeon entrance is barely 35 m from the statue, so you can be inside within seconds of arriving.

The surface is a level 32 to 38 tropical strip — Finsider, Palumba and Herbil — with Turtacle Terra, Celaray Lux, Dumud Gild and Surfent Terra in the shallows. Outside the dungeon there are 21 loot caches, 4 Elemental-Sealed Chests, 5 fishing spots (2 of them rare) and the usual 2 Kinship Peach trees. Everything else worth having is underground — that section is below.

Oasis Isle

Oasis Isle is the far-east outlier at 885, 197, out past the desert, and the run from Thirst's End is 997 m of open water. Its spawns are level 40 to 50Herbil, Palumba and Braloha — but the water is what makes the trip: Oasis Isle is the single biggest named spawn pocket in the game for Celaray Lux, holding just under 10% of its spawn points, with Dumud Gild and Surfent Terra close behind. If you are ticking off entries from the list of all 84 subspecies Pals, this is a two-birds stop.

On land it is the only island of the seven with a Pal Effigy on it, alongside 23 loot caches, 6 oil fields, a Grade 1 egg nest, 5 fishing spots and 2 Kinship Peach trees. It is also the only one of the seven with no Elemental-Sealed Chest at all, so do not waste a trip out here hunting one.

Isle of the Glacial Core

The toughest island sits north at 139, 639, between the snowfields and the desert, 678 m out from Frozen Dune Cape. Nothing here spawns under level 50: Whalaska and Azurobe Cryst hold the island at 50 to 60, and Neptilius guards it as a level 60 field boss parked about 70 m from the statue — the shortest walk from a statue to an Alpha anywhere on the seven islands. Check the Alpha Pal hunting route by level before you go if you want the fight order right.

It is also the best island on the list for two specific captures: 18.2% of all Whalaska spawn points and 13.1% of all Azurobe Cryst spawn points are on this one rock. Loot is deliberately sparse — 13 loot caches, 3 Elemental-Sealed Chests, 7 Pure Quartz nodes and 2 Kinship Peach trees — so come for the Pals, not the chests.

Inside the Sealed Realm of Terraria

The Sealed Realm is the only dungeon on any of the seven islands, and it is the sole source of Hallowed Bar, which every craftable piece of Terraria gear routes through. It runs as five zones that climb in level as you go deeper, from level 33 at the entrance to a level 45 boss room, so it doubles as a decent level check: if the Forest zone is chewing you up, you are not ready for the back half.

ZoneLevelWhat's in it
Forest33-35Green and Blue Slimes and Demon Eyes, with Herbil, Dazzi and Dumud Gild mixed in
Cavern36-38Red and Purple Slimes, Cave Bats and Tombat
Mushroom39-41The same slimes and bats plus Jellroy, Shroomer and Shroomer Noct
Hallow42-44Illuminant and Rainbow Slimes, Illuminant Bats and Enchanted Swords, with Killamari Primo, Starryon and Icelyn
Boss room45Eye of Cthulhu — Dark element, and catchable

The Hallow zone is the one to slow down in. It is the only place the Rainbow Slime and Enchanted Sword show up, and it sits immediately before the boss door, so it is where a run either pays off or ends. The boss itself is a straightforward Dark-element fight — full weak points and the drop table are in the Eye of Cthulhu location and drops guide — and everything you can build with what falls out of the realm is listed in how to get every Terraria item.

What the Seven Islands Are Worth Farming

Taken as a set, the seven islands are one of the densest loot pockets on the map for their combined size, and one category is not close. 14 of the game's 22 Kinship Peach trees grow on these islands — exactly two per island — which makes a statue-to-statue lap the fastest trust-farming circuit available once all seven are lit. The Elemental-Sealed Chest share is the other standout: 22 of the 109 on the entire map are out here.

What you're afterAcross the 7 islandsShare of the mapBest single island
Kinship Peach trees1414 of 22 — 64%All seven, two each
Elemental-Sealed Chests2222 of 109 — 20%Sunlit Isle, 5

Oil fields1212 of 185Sunlit Isle and Oasis Isle, 6 each
Pure Quartz nodes14Frostbitten Isle and the Isle of the Glacial Core, 7 each
Pal Effigies11 of 360Oasis Isle — the only one with any

Read that table by trip length rather than by row size. Sunlit Isle wins on four of the eight lines and sits 574 m from a starting-region statue, so it is the island that repays repeat visits. Frostbitten Isle loses on almost every line and demands the longest crossing on the map — go once for the statue and the Kinship Peaches, then never swim it again. You can pre-load the two layers that matter before you leave with the Elemental-Sealed Chest layer and the Kinship Fruit layer.

Pals Worth the Trip

Nothing on these islands is exclusive to them — every species out here also spawns somewhere on the mainland. What the islands give you is concentration: a handful of Pals have a double-digit share of their entire map-wide spawn pool packed onto one small rock, which turns a hunt that would take an hour of sweeping into a fast travel and a two-minute walk. These are the ones where the trip actually beats farming at home.

PalIslandWhy it's worth the trip
NeptiliusIsle of the Glacial CoreThe only field boss on any of the seven, level 60, about 70 m from the statue
WhalaskaIsle of the Glacial Core18.2% of its spawn points across the whole map, at level 50-60
Azurobe CrystIsle of the Glacial Core13.1% of its spawn points, on the same trip as Whalaska and Neptilius
GhanglerPhantom Isle14.2% of its spawn points, in packs of three to five at level 30-40
AzurobeIsle of Decayed Treasures13.6% of its spawn points, behind only the Sealed Realm of the Swift
Celaray LuxOasis IsleOasis Isle is its single biggest named pocket on the map
PalumbaOasis Isle and the Isle of Eternal SummerA third of every Palumba on the map sits on these two islands
PenkingFrostbitten IsleThe one level 22-25 spawn on an otherwise level 10-20 island

The Isle of the Glacial Core is the efficient stop on that list — three of the eight rows are on the same island, and you can clear all three in a single visit if you are level 55 or better. Oasis Isle is the other one worth planning around, because Celaray Lux and Palumba both peak there and neither is pleasant to hunt on the mainland. Everything else in the water around the islands is common enough that you should only grab it in passing:

TipOnce all seven statues are lit, a full lap of the islands is the fastest Kinship Peach route in the game — 14 of the map's 22 trees, two per island, every one of them a fast travel away with no travel time in between. Run it whenever you are pushing a favourite Pal's trust; the method is covered in how to raise trust fast.

The Short Version

Seven islands, all reachable with a water or flying mount, none of them locked behind a quest. Sunlit Isle (386, -463) is the level 1-10 starter and the richest for loot. Isle of Decayed Treasures (610, -161) and Frostbitten Isle (-80, -949) are the level 10-20 pair. Phantom Isle (-886, -186) holds the best chests at level 30-40. The Isle of Eternal Summer (-422, -796) carries the Sealed Realm of Terraria and its level 45 Eye of Cthulhu. Oasis Isle (885, 197) is the level 40-50 subspecies stop, and the Isle of the Glacial Core (139, 639) is the level 50-60 finish with Neptilius on it. Light every statue on one sweep, then come back by fast travel for the 14 Kinship Peach trees and the 22 Elemental-Sealed Chests.
