How to Get Moon Lord Statue: Schematic and Materials
The Moon Lord Statue only unlocks from a schematic that drops at 100% off the Level 80 Moon Lord (Master) raid, and building it costs 100 Hallowed Bar on top of the 100 you already spent on the sigil. Here is the full chain, the chest run that pays for it, and how it compares to every other statue in the build menu.

The Moon Lord Statue is the golden trophy the Tides of Terraria collab hands out for clearing Moon Lord on Master difficulty, and it is the most expensive decoration anyone can plant in a base. This guide covers the schematic and its exact drop, the 100 Hallowed Bar the build itself eats, every requirement in the chain that leads to it, and how it measures up against the four other statues in the build menu.
Moon Lord Statue Stats and Unlock
Two rows in the card below are the whole story. The technology level is blank — there is no research node to buy and no Technology Points to spend, so no amount of levelling will ever put this in your build menu; the schematic is the only key. And the material row is unique: out of 480 buildable structures, the Moon Lord Statue is the only one in the entire game that asks for Hallowed Bar. Everything else in the Furniture category is stone, wood, ingots or cloth, which is why a purely decorative object ends up costing more raw value than any weapon in the collab set.
| Moon Lord Statue | |
|---|---|
| Category | Furniture — purely decorative, no function |
| Build cost | 100× |
| Technology level | None — not on the tech tree at any level |
| Unlocked by | Moon Lord Statue Schematic |
| Schematic source | Moon Lord (Master) raid — 100% drop |
| Schematic works from | Your inventory or base storage — it doesn't have to be carried |
| Other builds using Hallowed Bar | None — 1 structure out of 480 |
| Raw material value | 30,000 gold at 300 a bar |
| In-game blurb | "A gleaming golden statue of the Moon Lord. Proof of those strong enough to overcome a hopeless battle." |
The storage detail is worth reading twice. Weapon and armor schematics in Palworld have to sit in your inventory for the recipe to exist, but this one counts from a base chest as well, so it can go straight into storage after the raid and never take up a slot again. The rest of the build menu is on the full Palworld structures list with materials.
How to Get the Moon Lord Statue Schematic
There is exactly one source and no alternative: kill Moon Lord on Master. No chest rolls it, no merchant stocks it, no expedition returns it, and the standard Level 50 raid does not have it in the pool no matter how many times you run it. The good news is that it isn't a lottery — the Master fight drops it at a flat 100%, so the first clear is also the last one you need. The table below is what each difficulty actually pays out, and it makes the split obvious: standard is where the gear rolls live, Master is where the trophy lives.
| Raid | Summon level | Statue schematic | What it does drop |
|---|---|---|---|
| 50 | Not in the pool | ||
| 80 | 100% — guaranteed |
Master also re-drops its own Celestial Sigil (Master) at 100%, which matters more than it sounds: the fight funds its own repeats, so a failed attempt costs you ten minutes rather than a summon item. Only the very first sigil in the chain is bought with metal. The full attack list, weak-point multipliers and squad picks are in our Moon Lord raid guide with weak points and drops — the three steps below are just the route to the statue.
Step 1: Farm the Sealed Realm of Terraria
Everything downstream is priced in Hallowed Bar, and Hallowed Bar has one home. It cannot be smelted, cannot be mined, isn't sold by any merchant and never turns up in an expedition — the Sealed Realm of Terraria is the whole supply. Cavern-grade chests in there pay 20-40 a pull against 4-10 from the ordinary ones, so the deep chests are the only ones worth your time, and they're also the sole source of the Celestial Sigil Schematic you need before the sigil recipe even appears. Open the interactive map on the Sealed Realm entrance — there is exactly one pin for it.
| Source | Hallowed Bar per pull | Also rolls |
|---|---|---|
| Cavern-grade chests in the Sealed Realm | 20-40 | Celestial Sigil Schematic — its only source |
| Treasure chests in the Sealed Realm | 4-10 | Hallowed Plate Mail Schematic at 7.1% |
| Guaranteed | The boss at the end of the same dungeon | |
| Smelting, merchants, expeditions | — | No source at all |
Step 2: Craft the Sigil and Clear the Level 50 Raid
With the schematic banked, one Celestial Sigil costs 100 Hallowed Bar and 10,000 work, and it burns whether you win or lose. Offer it at a Summoning Altar — Technology 33, then 100 Stone and 20 Paldium Fragment to build — and beat the Level 50 fight. The reward that matters here isn't the Meowmere roll, it's the guaranteed Master sigil, because that is the only way into the fight that actually holds your statue schematic.
Step 3: Beat Moon Lord (Master) at Level 80
Master is the same model with the numbers rewritten. Total health goes from ×210 to ×790, your damage is cut to a quarter, and everything it deals is multiplied by seven — and unlike the standard version, which can't scratch wood or stone at all, Master hits structures at ×5. Summon it on a throwaway plot rather than your main base. Survive the ten-minute clock and the schematic drops with no roll attached, alongside a fresh Master sigil for the next attempt.
Everything You Need Before You Can Build It
This is the "can I even attempt this yet" gate, and the honest answer for most players is no — a Level 80 raid with your damage quartered is endgame content, not a decorating project. The two lines people trip over are the sigil schematic, which makes the recipe exist at all, and the second stack of 100 bars: the sigil you spent isn't refunded, so the statue's real price is 200 Hallowed Bar, not 100. Everything else on the list you probably already own by the time you're clearing raids.
| Requirement | What it costs |
|---|---|
Celestial Sigil Schematic | One cavern-grade chest drop in the Sealed Realm — without it the sigil recipe doesn't exist |
| 100× | |
| Summoning Altar | Technology 33, then 100 Stone and 20 Paldium Fragment |
| A Level 50 clear | Standard Moon Lord — the only source of the Master sigil |
| A Level 80 squad | Master Moon Lord summons at 80 and never scales down |
Moon Lord Statue Schematic | Guaranteed on the Master kill — carry it or store it in a base chest |
| Build materials | Another 100× |
Moon Lord Statue Build Cost
One material, one line, no sub-recipe — which sounds cheap until you price the line. At 20-40 bars per cavern chest, 100 bars is roughly three to five clean chest runs, and doubling that for the sigil you already burned puts the true bill closer to six to ten. Treat that as a working estimate rather than a promise, since chest rolls swing wide. If you're grinding the realm anyway for Hallowed Plate Mail or the collab weapons, the statue is a rounding error on top; if you're going in cold for a decoration, it is a long afternoon.
| Material | Qty | Where it comes from |
|---|---|---|
| 100 | Sealed Realm of Terraria chests and the Eye of Cthulhu — no other source in the game | |
| Total raw value | 30,000 gold | 100 bars at 300 gold each |
| Estimated chest runs | 3-5 | At 20-40 bars per cavern-grade chest |
| True cost including the sigil | 200 bars | The sigil is consumed on the standard raid and never refunded |
What Else 100 Hallowed Bar Buys
Fifteen different things in Palworld are built from Hallowed Bar, and lining them up against the statue is the fastest way to see what you're really paying. The base Hallowed Plate Mail is 200 defence for 20 bars — five suits fit inside one statue. The base Terra Blade hits 425 attack for 40 bars plus 20 Pal Metal Ingot, the highest figure of any melee weapon in the collab set, and it costs less than half a statue. The only build that ties the statue's 100 is the sigil itself, and that one is consumed. Attack and defence numbers below only compare within their own class — a sword's 425 is not a rifle's 300.
| Build | Hallowed Bar | What you get |
|---|---|---|
| 100 | Decoration only — the one build in the game that needs the Master kill | |
| 100 | One attempt at the standard raid, consumed win or lose | |
| 40 + 20 | 425 attack, 757 durability — the collab's hardest-hitting melee | |
| 40 + 20 | 300 attack assault rifle with homing missiles | |
| 30 | 360 attack, 600 durability, no secondary material | |
| 22 + 22 | 222 attack and 22,222 durability — the highest in the game | |
| 20 | 200 defence, 650 HP — the cheapest 200-defence body there is | |
| 1 | 350 defence and 800 HP for a single bar — the best value in the set |
Moon Lord Statue vs Every Other Statue
Five decorative statues exist in the build menu and four of them are made of rocks. Jetragon and Frostallion sit behind the two highest research nodes in the group at Technology 79 and 64, but both are still just 100 Stone once you're there — an afternoon of mining. The Lyleen and Yakumo statues aren't on the tech tree at all, and Yakumo is the cheapest thing on this list at 70 Stone. Then there's the Moon Lord Statue, whose materials are worth 300 times what an equivalent stack of Stone is worth, and which no amount of levelling will unlock. If you want a base centrepiece that says something about your account, this is the only one on the list that can't be faked.
| Statue | Materials | Tech level | How it unlocks |
|---|---|---|---|
| 100× Hallowed Bar | None | Schematic from the Level 80 Master raid | |
| 100× Stone | 79 | Research node — the highest in the group | |
| 100× Stone | 64 | Research node | |
| 100× Stone | None | Not on the tech tree | |
| 70× Stone | None | Not on the tech tree — the cheapest statue in the game |
Is the Moon Lord Statue Worth Building?
Strictly on function, no — it's Furniture, it does nothing, and 100 bars is five suits of 200-defence armor or two and a half Terra Blades you'd actually use. But nobody clearing a Level 80 raid with their damage quartered is short on gear by that point, and the schematic is guaranteed rather than a roll, so the only real question is whether you feel like doing another three to five chest runs. If you've already beaten Master, you've done the hard 95% of this; the metal is just paperwork. If you haven't, go read the Moon Lord fight breakdown first, because the statue is downstream of that and nothing else.
The Short Version
Farm cavern-grade chests in the Sealed Realm of Terraria until you have the Celestial Sigil Schematic and 200 Hallowed Bar. Spend the first 100 on a sigil, beat standard Moon Lord at Level 50 for the guaranteed Master sigil, then beat Moon Lord (Master) at Level 80 — the statue schematic drops at 100%, with no roll and no second attempt needed. Store the schematic in a base chest and spend the other 100 bars on the build. It's the only structure in Palworld made from Hallowed Bar and the only statue that isn't a pile of rocks.
