List of Fire Skill Fruits: Stats and How to Get Them — Palworld Database

There are 10 Fire Skill Fruits in Palworld, and any Pal can eat any of them — element and level don't matter. This guide lists all 10 with the power, cooldown and damage per second of the skill they teach, every shop price, the exact drop chance out of Fire-sealed chests and every other pool that carries them, and which Pals already learn the move for free.

All 10 Fire Skill Fruits

Palworld has 30 Fire attacks in total and only these 10 exist as fruit — the other 20 are level-up moves and signature attacks no merchant will ever sell you. Power runs from 40 up to 600 across the set, and Fire is one of only four elements whose fruits cover the complete cooldown ladder from 2 seconds all the way to 30. The best fruit on raw output isn't the biggest one: Volcanic Rain tops the element at 22.5 damage per second on a 20-second timer, and it's the cheapest Rare in the Arena Shop. The other thing to notice is the status column — eight of the 10 set Burn on essentially every hit, which makes Fire the most reliable ailment carrier of any element.

All 10 share the same orange fruit art in your inventory, so you can't tell them apart at a glance — check the tooltip, or use the sortable Palworld Skill Fruit database to match a fruit to its move before you feed it to something.

Power, Cooldown, and What Fire Is Good For

Every Fire fruit skill is Shot class, which means it scales off the Pal's Shot Attack and completely ignores its Melee Attack — that one fact decides most of your picks further down this page. Element-wise, Fire beats both Ice and Grass, and there are 84 Pals across those two types to point it at, which is the widest coverage any single element gets. Water is what shuts Fire down, and with 47 Water Pals in the game that's a matchup you will run into constantly, so don't build a mono-Fire team.

Range is where Fire gets awkward. The two heaviest hits are both close-quarters moves: Ignis Rage caps out at 1,000 range and Ignis Breath at 1,500, so a Pal carrying either has to be in the fight to use it. Flame Funnel gives up 200 power against Ignis Rage and reaches 5,000 in exchange — that's the pick for a boss that never lets you close. Watch the minimum ranges too: Spirit Fire won't fire inside 1,000 and Flare Storm won't fire inside 700, which is why both feel dead when something is chewing on your Pal.

The table below is the ceiling at each cooldown length — the best Fire fruit you can slot at that timer. Two rows carry the element. The 20-second row is where Fire peaks at 22.5 damage per second, better than both the 24-second and 30-second monsters above it, so Volcanic Rain is the single best fruit in the set on raw output. The 12-second row is the sleeper: Flame Wall is only an Uncommon, but at 20.8 it beats the Rare Flame Funnel sitting one rung above it.

Fire is one of only four elements with a fruit at every rung of that ladder, so you can build a Pal's entire moveset out of this list without a gap. Burn is the payoff for going all in: eight of the 10 land it on every connect, Flare Arrow is the most reliable of the lot, and only Flare Storm at 65% and Ignis Blast at 50% will regularly whiff the ailment. Full numbers for every skill in the game are on the Palworld active skills database.

TipBurn is the most common ailment in Palworld and a lot of Dragon attacks carry it too, so it's the one status a target is most likely to already be resisting the effects of stacking. Where Fire wins is consistency — you're not gambling on a proc the way Dark and Ice players are. What Burn actually does to a target is covered in the Palworld status effects guide.

How to Get Fire Skill Fruits

There are six routes, and Fire is one of the lucky elements here. On top of the usual chests, shops and recycler, Fire has its own sealed chests — a dedicated pool with better odds than anything else in the early and mid game. Every single Fire fruit is obtainable, which is not true of every element, but the routes split sharply by tier: the cheap five come out of sealed chests and oil rig crates, while the four Rares are Arena purchases, late-region chests and relic drops.

Fire-Sealed Chests

This is the route Dark and Neutral players don't get, and it's the best odds in the game for a cheap Fire fruit. There are 109 elemental-sealed chests marked across the map, split between the elements, and the Fire ones carry a tighter pool than an ordinary chest does — which is exactly why the per-fruit chance is roughly four to five times higher. The Forest chests only hold the cheap five, but the Desert, Sakurajima and Sunreach Isle pools add Ignis Rage, and that matters a lot: Ignis Rage is the one Rare Fire fruit no shop anywhere sells, so a sealed chest is the only route to it that doesn't involve recycling relics.

Sealed chest regionFire fruits in the poolChance per fruit
ForestFlare Storm, Ignis Breath, Flare Arrow, Spirit Fire, Ignis Blast2.61%
DesertIgnis Rage, Flare Storm, Ignis Breath, Flare Arrow, Spirit Fire, Ignis Blast2.48%
SakurajimaIgnis Rage, Flare Storm, Ignis Breath, Flare Arrow, Spirit Fire, Ignis Blast2.48%
Sunreach IsleIgnis Rage, Flare Storm, Ignis Breath, Flare Arrow, Spirit Fire, Ignis Blast2.48%

Six fruits at 2.48% each means roughly a one-in-seven shot at some Fire fruit per Desert-and-later sealed chest, which is the single best per-open rate on this page. Turn on the sealed chest layer on the Palworld interactive map and sweep them as you pass through — they're worth a detour in a way ordinary chests are not.

Arena Shop — Battle Tickets

Three Fire fruits sit in the Arena Shop permanently, bought with Battle Tickets you earn from arena rounds, and stock never rotates — save up and buy exactly what you want. This is the only guaranteed route to a Rare Fire fruit. Fire Ball is the 45-ticket premium pick and the biggest hit in the element, but Volcanic Rain at 30 tickets is the better buy on almost every measure: it does more damage per second, it costs a third less, and it fires on a 20-second timer you'll actually get off twice in a fight.

Skill FruitBattle TicketsPowerCooldownMax range
Fire Ball4560030s5,000
Volcanic Rain3045020s2,000
Flame Funnel3030016s5,000

Flame Funnel is the one to prioritise if you're short on time rather than tickets, because it is by far the hardest Fire fruit to find in the wild — no treasure chest, no sealed chest and no oil rig crate carries it. Outside the Arena it only turns up from Sunreach Isle fishing at 0.94% or the relic recycler. Tickets come from the arena itself: the full round list and what each one pays out is on the Palworld arena guide, and the rest of the Battle Ticket stock is listed on the Palworld merchant database.

Volcano Shop — Plain Gold

Fire has something most elements don't: two fruits you can just buy with money. The Volcano Shop merchant stocks Flare Storm and Ignis Breath at 3,000 Gold each, no tickets and no farming involved. Ignis Breath is the one worth the coin — at 160 power on an 8-second timer it hits 20.0 damage per second, matching two of the four Rares, and 3,000 Gold is loose change by the time you reach the volcano. Flare Storm is the weakest fruit in the set on damage per second and the only one that fumbles its Burn, so buy it for the moveset slot rather than the numbers.

Region Chests, Fishing, and Oil Rig Crates

Ordinary treasure chests are the background supply, and which fruits you can pull depends entirely on where the chest is. The Grasslands and Forest pools hold the cheap five; the Desert, Mount Obsidian, Snowfields and Yakushima band swaps in Fire Ball and Ignis Rage; and the Sakurajima–Feybreak–Sunreach band is the only place regular chests drop Volcanic Rain and Flame Wall. Snowfields has the best per-chest odds of any region at 1.64%, but Feybreak is the better farm in practice with 201 chest pins on the map. Fishing spots mirror the chest pool of whatever region they sit in at slightly lower odds, which is free value if you're already working through the Palworld fishing guide.

Grasslands177Flare Storm, Ignis Breath, Flare Arrow, Spirit Fire, Ignis Blast0.59%
Forest247Same five as Grasslands0.50%

Sunreach Isle76Ignis Rage, Volcanic Rain, Flame Wall, Flare Storm1.49%
YakushimaFire Ball, Ignis Rage, Flare Storm, Ignis Breath1.10%

Oil rig crates are the best repeatable route for the cheap end: 2.56% for each of Flare Storm, Ignis Breath, Flare Arrow, Spirit Fire and Ignis Blast, from 56 crates that respawn once you can handle the guards. Field drops are the opposite — pure luck. Volcanic Rain falls on the ground in the World Tree (0.62%), Feybreak (0.38%) and Sunreach Isle (0.37%), and Fire Ball, Ignis Rage and Ignis Breath show up in Mount Obsidian, the Desert, Snowfields and Sakurajima at 0.03% to 0.04%. Nice when it happens, never worth planning around. Skill Fruit Trees are the wildcard on top of all this: 47 exist across both maps — 35 on the mainland and 12 in the World Tree — and each hands you a fruit without a fight, but you don't pick the element.

Recycling Ancient Relics

Five Fire fruits come out of the recycler — Fire Ball, Ignis Rage, Volcanic Rain, Flame Funnel and Flame Wall — which is notable because that is every single Rare in the element plus the best Uncommon. The catch is the rate: each sits at roughly 0.27% per relic, and the payout climbs with the relic grade, so Glistening relics are what you want in the machine. Treat this as a bonus you notice while farming relics for something else rather than a plan. The full setup is covered in the Ancient Relic Recycler guide.

TipIgnis Rage is the odd one out in this element. It's a Rare at 500 power that no shop stocks at any price — Fire-sealed chests, late-region treasure chests and the relic recycler are the only places it exists. It's also the single most widely available fruit in the set by number of sources, so if you're sweeping chests anyway you'll trip over one before you find a Flame Funnel.

Best Pals to Put Fire Skills On

Because every Fire fruit skill is Shot class, the only stat that matters is Shot Attack — a Pal with monstrous Melee Attack gains nothing from a Fire Ball fruit. Four catchable Pals tie for the element lead at 130, and they are not equally easy to get: Bushi Noct has 1,990 spawn spots and Ghangler Ignis has 405, while Jormuntide Ignis and Eidrolon Ignis sit at about 20-odd spots each. Jormuntide Ignis is the one to chase if you can: same 130 Shot Attack as Bushi Noct with 130 HP instead of 80, so it actually survives long enough to land a 30-second cast.

PalShot AttackHPDefenseElementsWhy it's a good carrier
Jormuntide Ignis130130100Dragon / FireHighest HP of any 130-attack Fire Pal — the best all-round home for your Rare fruit

Eidrolon Ignis130115120Dragon / FireToughest of the 130 club at 120 Defense; only 26 spots, so it's a hunt
Ghangler Ignis13090105Fire / Water405 spots, and its Water typing answers the element that counters Fire

Moldron125110115Fire / Ground115 Defense and an Alpha at Lv. 70 if you'd rather not hunt spawns
Flaracle125110105FirePure Fire with a balanced statline; Alpha at Lv. 68
Blazamut125100120Fire120 Defense and an Alpha at Lv. 52 — only 16 wild spots otherwise
Whalaska Ignis120105110Ice / FireIce typing plus Fire fruits covers Dragons and Grass on one Pal
Renjishi120105100FireNo wild spawns at all — the Lv. 78 Alpha is the only way to get one
Knocklem Ignis115105135FireHighest Defense in the element — the one that survives a raid

Blazamut Ryu matches the 130 Shot Attack ceiling with 125 Defense on top, but it isn't something you go catch — it comes out of a summoning altar, and the fight is broken down in the Blazamut Ryu raid guide. Feeding a fruit doesn't care about the Pal's element at all, so a high Shot Attack Pal of any type is still a perfectly good answer to Ice and Grass bosses. Check the Palworld combat tier list before you commit a Rare fruit — they aren't refundable once eaten.

Fruits You Can Skip

Plenty of these skills are handed out free by levelling or breeding, which makes buying the fruit a waste. The two numbers that matter are how many Pals learn the skill by levelling up and how many can inherit it as an egg move. Ignis Breath is the biggest trap on the list — 254 Pals can inherit it, more than any other Fire move, so spending 3,000 Gold on it only makes sense if you have no breeding pair to hand. Flip it around and Fire Ball is the one nothing inherits: 41 Pals learn it by levelling and zero get it from an egg, so for anything outside those 41 the 45-ticket fruit is the only route.

Skill FruitPals that learn it by levellingPals that can inherit itVerdict
Fire Ball410Buy it — no breeding route, and most learners only get it at Lv. 40
Volcanic Rain11124Best fruit in the element at 30 tickets, but breeding covers it if you have the pair
Flame Funnel11125Only 11 Pals learn it — worth the 30 tickets for anything outside that list
Ignis Rage23191Skip the hunt — widely inherited, and it lands in your chests anyway
Flame Wall15121Grab one from a Sakurajima or Feybreak chest; don't farm for it
Flare Storm160No egg route at all, so 3,000 Gold is the easy fix for the other 272 Pals
Ignis Breath25254Skip — the most widely inherited Fire move in the game
Flare Arrow270Cheap, guaranteed Burn at 5,000 range — grab it from an oil rig crate
Spirit Fire32032 Pals learn it, several at Lv. 1 — check your box first
Ignis Blast350Skip — more Pals learn this by levelling than any other Fire fruit skill

The pattern is clean: the three Rares that Pals inherit freely — Volcanic Rain, Flame Funnel and Ignis Rage — are all worth breeding for, while Fire Ball and the three cheap Commons have no egg route whatsoever and have to be found or bought. If breeding is the cheaper path, the inheritance rules are worth reading properly — how breeding works in Palworld covers which parent passes what, and the Palworld breeding calculator finds the pair.

Farm Your Own at the Skillfruit Orchard

Late in the game you can stop hunting fruits and start growing them. The Skillfruit Orchard unlocks at level 71 and costs 200 Mythical Wood, 500 Paldium Fragment and 150 Soralite to build — a real endgame bill, and the Mythical Wood is the slow part since relic recycling is the source. Plant a fruit and every harvest rolls against a fixed table: 60% of cycles give you nothing at all, 15% return the exact fruit you planted, and the remaining 25% split between a Common, Uncommon or Rare fruit of the same element.

For Fire specifically that 3% Rare roll is a four-way lottery — Fire Ball, Ignis Rage, Volcanic Rain and Flame Funnel are all in the pot. Planting a cheap Ignis Blast out of an oil rig crate is genuinely the closest thing the game has to a renewable Rare Fire supply that doesn't cost Battle Tickets. It's slow, but it's free, and it's the only route that can hand you a Flame Funnel without an arena run. The full payout table is on the Skill Fruit database page.

MaterialQtyWhere it comes from
Mythical Wood200Every grade of Ancient Relic recycles into it — guaranteed output
Paldium Fragment500711 Paldium Ore nodes on the map, or buy them from the Wandering Merchant
Soralite150226 Soralite nodes, plus Sunreach Isle supply drops and expeditions
TipPlant the element you want more of, not the fruit you value least. A planted Fire fruit only ever returns Fire fruits, so an orchard running cheap Ignis Blasts is a slow drip-feed of Fire Rares — while an orchard of leftover Grass fruits will never hand you a Fire Ball no matter how long you run it.
