List of All 43 Fire Type Pals and Where to Find Them — Palworld Database

Fire hits harder than almost anything else in Palworld and it is the only element that owns a job outright. Forty-three Pals carry Fire, all 43 of them can work a furnace, and the element's 113.0 average attack is the second-highest of the nine — behind Dragon and nothing else. This is every Fire Pal with its attack, HP, defence, Kindling level and spawn count, plus what Fire beats, the best fighters and mounts, all 11 Fire alpha markers, the Scorching Egg combos, and where to farm Fire Radiant Gem.

All 43 Fire Type Pals

Forty-three of the game's 288 Pals wear Fire, which makes it the fifth-largest element roster behind Dark, Water, Grass and Ground. The split is almost even: 21 are pure Fire and 22 are dual-element, and Dark is by far the most common partner at ten Pals, followed by four each with Water and Dragon, two with Ground, and one apiece with Grass and Ice. The Attack column takes the higher of each Pal's melee and ranged base value, and the Kindling column is the reason half this list ends up at your base rather than on your team.

Three of the forty-three never appear as an overworld spawn. Katress Ignis is dungeon-locked — Cherry Blossom Cave is the only place it exists, as a regular enemy and as the cave boss. Renjishi has no wild pins either but does stand on the map as a Lv 78 alpha, and Blazamut Ryu is a raid-altar summon covered in our Blazamut Ryu raid guide. At the other end, Bushi Noct and Bushi are everywhere — 1,990 and 1,838 pins respectively, the two densest Fire spawns in the game. Four Pals tie for the element's top attack at 150: Incineram, Jormuntide Ignis, Blazamut and Blazamut Ryu. Jormuntide Ignis holds the most HP at 130 and Knocklem Ignis's 135 defence tops the element.

Fire Type Strengths and Weaknesses

Fire is the second-best offensive element on the Palworld type chart and by far the simplest to play. It counters two elements — Grass and Ice — which is 84 Pals, second only to Grass's 88, and it gives up exactly one weakness in return. Water is the only thing that punishes Fire, and that is the whole story for the 21 pure Fire Pals: one weakness, two bonuses, no bookkeeping.

SituationDamageWhat it means for you
Your Fire move hits a Grass Pal~1.5×46 Pals, and Grass owns most of the base-work roster you raid for materials
Your Fire move hits an Ice Pal~1.5×Another 38 Pals — the whole Frostbound Mountains bracket opens up
A Water move hits your Fire Pal~1.5× against youFire's only weakness, and the reason a volcano team drowns on the coast
A Water move hits Ghangler Ignis or Finsider Ignis~1.5× and then someFire/Water hybrids stack Water, Electric and Grass weaknesses — three each, the worst defensive typing in the element
A Fire move hits Whalaska Ignis or Petallia Ignis~1.5× against youTwo Fire Pals are weak to Fire, because their other half is Ice or Grass

The practical read: 21 of the 43 have a single weakness and 4 have three, and the four are exactly the Fire/Water hybrids. If you are picking one Fire Pal to carry into unknown fights, take a pure one — the dual types buy you coverage you rarely use and hand the enemy extra bonuses you always feel. The bonus keys off the move, not the Pal, so a Neutral body holding Fire Skill Fruit: Fire Ball punishes Grass and Ice just as hard; the full multiplier breakdown is in Super Effective and Resistance Explained.

Best Fire Pals for Combat

Fire is a genuine top-tier combat element. It takes 3 of the 14 S-tier slots on our Palworld tier list and 4 more in A, which puts it level with Dark and behind only Dragon's five. Better still, two of the three S-tier picks come with a Fire damage passive already attached — Blazamut rolls Flame Emperor for +30% Fire damage naturally, and Blazamut Ryu rolls Eternal Flame for +30% Fire and +30% Lightning at once. No other Pal in the game is born with either.

PalTierClassElementsWhy Bring It
Jormuntide IgnisSMeleeDragon / Fire150 melee attack on 130 HP — the highest HP in the element and joint-highest attack. Its partner skill adds 50% to 65% damage against anything Burning, which its own Fire moves apply, so it buffs itself. Kindling Lv 7 on top.
Blazamut RyuSMeleeDragon / Fire150 attack behind 125 defence, plus Eternal Flame as a natural passive for +30% Fire damage. Its partner skill adds 25% to 40% Dragon weak-point damage. Raid-altar only — no wild spawns anywhere.
BlazamutSMeleeFireThe version you can actually hunt: a Lv 52 alpha with 150 attack, 120 defence and the natural Flame Emperor passive at +30% Fire damage. Mining Lv 7 makes it a base Pal between fights.
IncineramAMeleeFire / Dark150 melee attack from a Pal with 105 wild pins around Mount Obsidian — the cheapest way into the 150 club by a wide margin. The Dark half means Dragon moves hurt it, and 85 defence is thin.
Eidrolon IgnisARangedDragon / Fire130 ranged attack, 120 defence, 115 HP, and the element's best mount in the same body — rank 5 of all 115 rideable Pals at 2,750 sprint. Kindling Lv 6 and Transporting Lv 6 as well.
MoldronARangedFire / Ground125 attack behind 115 defence, and it owns Magma Laser at 700 power — joint-strongest Fire move in the game. A Lv 70 alpha with 101 wild pins, so you can farm it.
FlaracleARangedFire125 attack, 110 HP, Kindling Lv 7 and Handiwork Lv 6. Its partner skill makes the Burn you inflict detonate for an extra 40% to 60%, which is the single best payoff for stacking Fire moves.
Knocklem IgnisBRangedFire135 defence is the highest of any Fire Pal, and Flame Cutter at 700 power is exclusive to it. Pure Fire, so Water is its only problem. 58 pins, all on Bicornis Islet.
RenjishiBRangedFire120 attack and the only Kindling Lv 8 in Palworld. Its partner skill bolts Burn onto your own attacks, which turns any weapon into a Fire weapon for the Jormuntide Ignis and Flaracle payoffs. Lv 78 alpha, no wild pins.
SootseerBRangedDark / Fire125 attack with 649 wild pins — the most catchable Pal at this attack level in the element, and it shows up around Silent Lake long before the volcano is survivable.
Bushi NoctBRangedFire / Dark130 ranged attack and 1,990 pins, the densest Fire spawn in the game. 80 HP and 80 defence are the trade — it dies to anything that connects, but you will never struggle to find another.
Whalaska IgnisBRangedIce / Fire120 attack, 110 defence, and a Lv 74 alpha. The catch is the typing: Ice/Fire is weak to Water *and* to Fire, so it is the one Fire Pal that other Fire Pals beat up.

If you are levelling one Fire Pal, make it Blazamut. It is a Lv 52 alpha you will reach naturally, it hits for 150 with 120 defence behind it, it rides, it mines at Lv 7, and its natural Flame Emperor passive is worth roughly a third of its damage before you fit a single accessory. Incineram is the early answer at the same 150 attack and a fraction of the level requirement, and Eidrolon Ignis is the endgame one because it is the only Fire Pal that is simultaneously an S-tier body and a top-five mount.

The Strongest Fire Attack Skills

Thirty Fire moves exist and the top of the list is unusually flat: three different moves sit at 700 power on a 30-second cooldown for 23.3 DPS, and each one belongs to exactly one Pal. That means the strongest Fire skill is not something you shop for — it comes attached to a body. Below them, the numbers below only compare Fire moves against other Fire moves, since cooldown structures differ across elements.

Magma Serpent40020sMelee20.0Jormuntide Ignis only
Fierce Fang (Fire)502sMelee25.0Kitsun at Lv 2 — the highest sustained Fire DPS in the game

Two rows matter more than the rest. Volcanic Rain is the practical pick for any Pal you are building: 22.5 DPS beats every 700-power exclusive except the three at the top, it fires from contact out to 2,000, and it sits in 134 egg-move pools plus a merchant shelf, so you can put it on almost anything. And Fierce Fang (Fire) is the curiosity — 50 power on a 2-second cooldown works out to 25.0 DPS, the highest sustained Fire figure in Palworld, and Kitsun learns it at Lv 2 and never learns anything faster. The full shelf, prices included, is in List of Fire Skill Fruits.

Kindling: The One Job Fire Owns

This is the element's real monopoly and it is close to absolute. Forty-four Pals in Palworld can work Kindling, and 43 of them are the entire Fire roster — every single Fire Pal has the job, at Lv 1 or better. The lone exception is Kitsun Noct, a pure Dark Pal that kept the skill its Fire twin has. No furnace, forge or cooking pot runs without one of these 44, which means a base with no Fire Pal simply cannot smelt.

PalKindlingOther JobsWhy It Works
RenjishiLv 8Handiwork 6, Gathering 5, Transporting 5The only Kindling Lv 8 in the game, and it is not a one-trick worker either — Handiwork Lv 6 means it stays useful at the bench between smelts. Lv 78 alpha, so it is a late unlock.
Jormuntide IgnisLv 7NoneKindling Lv 7 with nothing else to distract it, which is exactly what you want on a furnace — it will never wander off to another station. It is also the element's best fighter, so the same Pal doubles as your damage slot.
FlaracleLv 7Handiwork 6, Transporting 2The best all-round Fire worker: Lv 7 smelting plus Lv 6 Handiwork covers two of the three bottlenecks in a mid-game base. 26 wild pins makes it rarer than it should be.
DupinLv 7Handiwork 5, Medicine Production 4, Transporting 2Four jobs including Medicine Production, which is scarce outside Grass. 81 pins and no alpha requirement makes it the easiest Lv 7 smelter to actually own.
BlazamutLv 6Mining 7Kindling Lv 6 and Mining Lv 7 in one body — it digs the ore and then melts it. That combination is why it is worth catching even if you never fight with it.
Eidrolon IgnisLv 6Transporting 6Lv 6 on both smelting and hauling, so it feeds the furnace it is standing at. Rank-5 mount as well, which is an absurd amount of value in one slot.
FalerisLv 6Transporting 3A flying Lv 6 smelter with 230 stamina, so it is the Pal you leave at base and still grab when you need to cross the map.
MoldronLv 5Mining 5The budget Blazamut — Lv 5 on both mining and smelting, from a Lv 70 alpha with 101 wild pins instead of 16.
Ghangler IgnisLv 5Watering 5, Transporting 2Fire and Water suitabilities on the same Pal, which is rare and saves a base slot when you are short on population.
ReptyroLv 5Mining 5Kindling and Mining at Lv 5 with 120 defence, and its partner skill cuts item weight by 30% to 60% — useful on an ore run.
Wixen NoctLv 4Handiwork 3, Transporting 2184 pins on Sakurajima's west coast makes this the earliest Lv 4 smelter most players can realistically farm in bulk.
ArsoxLv 3NoneA Lv 15 alpha and the standard first Fire Pal. Lv 3 Kindling is enough for the early forge, and its partner skill raises your cold resistance while you ride it.

The distribution is worth knowing before you plan a base: only one Pal reaches Lv 8, three reach Lv 7 and four reach Lv 6, so anything above Lv 5 is genuinely scarce and worth a Condenser investment. For an early base Arsox at Lv 15 is fine; from the mid-game on, Dupin is the best effort-to-output ratio at Lv 7 with no alpha hunt attached. Full rankings including the furnace tiers each level unlocks are in Best Pals for Kindling, and you can slot them automatically with the Palworld Work Optimizer.

Best Fire Mounts

Nineteen of the game's 115 rideable Pals are Fire, and the top of the list is one Pal clear of everything else. Eidrolon Ignis flies at 2,750 sprint, which ranks 5th overall and is roughly double what the next Fire mount manages. Below it the element splits cleanly: Suzaku and Faleris are the endurance flyers, and everything else is a ground mount in the 1,000–1,300 band. Sprint figures compare between mounts only, and flying and ground types are not interchangeable.

Moldron97Ground850270Lv 36
Vanwyrm99Flying850150Lv 21
Whalaska Ignis110Ground750200Lv 71

Vanwyrm is the one to unlock first despite sitting near the bottom — its saddle comes at tech Lv 21, it flies, and it has 545 wild pins, so it is the cheapest way to get airborne on a Fire Pal. Suzaku's 350 stamina is the highest in the element and it is a Lv 45 alpha, which makes it the practical long-haul flyer until you can afford Eidrolon Ignis's Lv 76 saddle. Skip Whalaska Ignis as transport — a Lv 71 saddle for 750 sprint is the worst rate in the element. Cross-element comparisons are in Best Flying Mounts.

Where to Find Fire Pals

Fire is the most geographically concentrated element in the game. Mount Obsidian and the volcano approach account for the three densest Fire regions — Mount Obsidian - Midpoint, Mount Obsidian Trail and Foot of the Volcano — and between them they hold the bulk of the roster's spawn entries. The practical consequence is that you need heat resistance gear before you can farm the element at all, which is why most players catch their first Fire Pals in dungeons instead. Every row below deep-links our Palworld interactive map with that Pal's spawn layer already switched on.

Bushi Noct and Bushi top the pin count but have no single dominant region, so they turn up almost anywhere — treat them as background noise rather than a destination. The tight spawns are the useful ones: Moldron concentrates 54.5% of its pins at Mount Obsidian - Midpoint, Arsox puts half of its at the Foot of the Volcano, and Knocklem Ignis is 100% Bicornis Islet — one island, every spawn. If the volcano is still out of reach, Volcanic Cavern and Cherry Blossom Cave between them hold 22 Fire Pals as enemies or cave bosses; see the Volcanic Cavern guide for that route.

All 11 Fire Alpha Markers

Eleven Fire Pals stand as fixed alpha field bosses, and they ladder cleanly from Lv 15 to Lv 78 — which makes Fire one of the better elements to level against, because there is almost always a Fire alpha within range of wherever you currently are. Alphas respawn, drop more than wild copies, and start at a higher level than anything you will catch in the field.

Arsox at Lv 15 is the entry point and the first rideable Fire Pal most players own. Blazamut at Lv 52 is the one worth planning a trip around, since a wild Blazamut is a 16-pin rarity and the alpha marker is guaranteed. Renjishi at Lv 78 is the highest-level Fire alpha in the game and the only way to obtain a Kindling Lv 8 worker at all. Full cross-element ordering is in the Alpha Pal Hunting Route.

Scorching Eggs and Breeding

Fire Pals hatch from Huge Scorching Egg and its smaller sizes, and the volcano region is where you find them on the ground. Breeding matters more here than in most elements because 15 Fire Pals exist only as specific parent pairings, including three of the element's four 150-attack bodies. Every Ignis and Noct variant below also breeds true — pair two of the same variant and you get that variant back.

Two combos are worth doing early even if you do not need the Pal. Jormuntide + Blazehowl is the only route to Jormuntide Ignis, the element's best fighter and a Kindling Lv 7 worker in one body, and it does not require you to own either parent's Ignis form first. Katress + Wixen is unusual in that the same pairing can produce two different children, Katress Ignis or Wixen Noct — and it is the only way to get Katress Ignis short of clearing Cherry Blossom Cave. Everything else about parent selection and inheritance is in How Breeding Works, and you can search pairings directly in the Palworld Breeding Calculator.

How to Farm Fire Radiant Gems

Fire Radiant Gem is what unlocks awakening on your Fire Pals, and eleven Pals drop it at 10 to 20 per kill on a guaranteed 100% roll. That is the good drop tier — a separate group drops only 1 to 3, so the table below is filtered to the ones actually worth farming. Sort by pin count and the answer is obvious.

Blazehowl Noct is the farm, and it is not close — 517 pins concentrated on the Mount Obsidian Trail, dropping the full 10-20 every time. Run the trail, kill everything, and Pyrin Noct at 411 pins spawns in the same corridor, so a single loop hits both. If you cannot survive Mount Obsidian yet, Chillet Ignis at the Moonflower Tower entrance is the safe alternative at 52 pins. Renjishi drops gems too but has no wild spawns, so it is one alpha kill per respawn cycle. All nine elements are covered in How to Farm Radiant Gems.

Gear and Passives That Boost Fire Damage

Fire gets more accessory support than any other element, and there is a quirk in the ring line worth knowing before you craft. Every element has exactly one Pal ring that boosts its damage while cutting incoming damage from the element it counters — except Fire, which has two, because Fire is the only element that counters two things. Everything below goes on the Pal fighting beside you unless the row says otherwise.

Flame Emperor's Baton is the one to build, since the flat attack bonus stacks on top of the element bonus in a single slot. Note what the two rings do not cover: they protect against Grass and Ice, the two elements Fire already beats, while nothing in the Fire line reduces incoming Water damage — the only thing that actually threatens a Fire Pal. If Water is your problem, the ring you want is the Electric one, Fenglope Lux Ring, which cuts Water damage by 35% at the cost of a boost your Fire Pal cannot use. Every recipe here needs Flame Organ, so read How to Get Pal Organs Fast before you start. Passives stack on top: Flame Emperor adds +30% Fire damage, Pyromaniac adds +10%, Suntan Lover cuts incoming Fire damage by 10%, and Eternal Flame gives +30% to Fire and Lightning together — the full list is on the Palworld passive skills page.

TipThe two best Fire partner skills pay you in loot, not damage. Blazehowl increases Grass-type item drops by 40% to 80%, and Faleris does the same for Ice-type drops — which are exactly the two elements Fire is super-effective against. Bring one of them along, kill the things your element already beats, and the farm rate goes up twice over. Pair that with Renjishi in the party, whose skill bolts Burn onto your own attacks, and Jormuntide Ignis as your fighter, whose skill adds 50% to 65% damage against Burning targets, and you have a team that lights the target and then cashes in on it.

Summary

Forty-three Pals carry Fire, and unlike most elements it does not have to trade anything away. It counters 84 Pals across Grass and Ice, it takes bonus damage from Water alone, its 113.0 average attack is second-highest of the nine, and every single member of the roster can run a furnace — a monopoly no other element has. Blazamut is the best pick you can actually hunt at 150 attack with a free +30% Fire passive, Blazamut Ryu and Jormuntide Ignis are the S-tier ceiling, Eidrolon Ignis is the only Fire Pal that fights and flies at the top of both lists, Renjishi holds the game's only Kindling Lv 8, and Blazehowl Noct's 517 pins on the Mount Obsidian Trail is where you farm Fire Radiant Gem ten to twenty at a time.
