All Palworld Achievements: Full List and How to Unlock — Palworld Database

Palworld tracks 75 achievements, and between them they cover every tower, every raid boss, every collectible statue and a few grinds most players never finish. This guide lists all 75 with their exact unlock conditions, how many players actually have each one, which ones eat the most hours, and the order that gets you through them with the least backtracking.

How Many Achievements Are in Palworld?

There are 75 in total on Steam, and they are not evenly spread. Thirteen of them — a sixth of the entire list — are effigy statue milestones, which is why the bottom of the rarity chart is almost nothing but effigy hunting. Another 24 are kill-or-catch achievements tied to specific bosses: eight tower pairs, five raid summons, five legendary Pals and the story fights around them. Everything else falls out of normal play, which is why the top of the list sits above 70% completion while the tail drops under 1%.

Boss-related achievements8 tower pairs, 5 raid bosses, 5 legendary catches
Collection grinds40 journals, 100 Lifmunk Effigies, 20 bounty tokens
Biggest single numberCaught 1,000 Pals (Overhunting)

The useful read here is that only three things on the list are genuinely long: the effigy tracks, the Arena ladder, and the 40-journal hunt. Everything else lands on its own if you finish the story and clear the towers, so it is worth planning those three around your normal run rather than saving them for a cleanup pass at level 60.

Catching and Paldex Achievements

Eight achievements track catching, and six of them are just Paldex counters. The full Paldex holds 288 Pals spread across 204 numbered slots, and variants like Faleris Aqua occupy their own entry with a letter suffix — so Exceptional Pal Tamer's 140 kinds is roughly half the book, and breeding for variants counts toward it exactly like catching a new species does. Overhunting is the outlier: 1,000 total captures is a volume target, not a variety one, and it ticks up fastest if you throw spheres at every Lamball you walk past instead of ignoring the low-level stuff.

OverhuntingCatch 1,000 Pals total14.9%
Inhuman ActCatch a human37.9%

Inhuman Act is the one people miss for hundreds of hours: syndicate thugs and other NPCs can be caught with a sphere the same as any Pal, and a single Syndicate Patrol camp hands it over in about ten seconds. Higher capture power makes all of these faster, so the Lifmunk Effigy capture ladder and sphere modules pay for themselves twice here — once on the catching achievements, once on the effigy ones.

Legendary Pal Catch Achievements

Five achievements ask you to catch a specific Pal, and four of the five are Legendary-rarity Pals. Three sit on the map as fixed alphas — Jetragon at level 70, Frostallion and Paladius at 60 — so they can be farmed the moment your gear catches up. Necromus is the Dark counterpart to Paladius and shows up at the same duel, and Panthalus is the odd one out: it does not roam anywhere, you build the Echoing Flute from four echobones and summon it.

Catching beats killing on all five, and it is not close — a captured legendary also hands you its bounty token and a Pal you will actually use, while a kill gives you drops and nothing else. Bring Legendary Spheres and chip the target to a sliver first; the alpha hunting order by level shows where each of these fits into a normal progression curve. Panthalus needs the Marine, Silent, Seafoam and Tidewind Echobones before the flute can be crafted, so that one is a scavenger hunt with a boss fight bolted on the end.

Tower Boss Achievements

Every tower pair has its own achievement, named after the region rather than the boss, and the completion rates track the intended route almost perfectly: 72.1% of players clear Zoe and Grizzbolt, and only 9.9% ever reach Auri and Shaolong. All eight towers are pinned on the interactive map's tower layer, and each fight keeps its five-minute timer.

Champion of the Palpagos Islands is the one that needs planning. Clearing all eight normal towers unlocks the Hard Mode ladder, where the same bosses come back in the 70s and 80s with up to ×110 HP and damage taken cut to a tenth — and you only need six of those rematches, so you can skip the two you hate. Zoe and Grizzbolt is deceptively the longest of them at ×1,000 effective health despite being the lowest level, and each rematch has its own team plan: Zoe and Grizzbolt, Lily and Lyleen, Marcus and Faleris, and Victor and Shadowbeak are the friendliest four to start with.

Raid Boss and Story Fight Achievements

Eight achievements come from fights that are not towers. Five of them are summoned raids you set up at one of the 16 raid altars on the altar layer, which means they are repeatable and can be run with a party — the co-op guide covers how many players a raid expects. The other three are world fights: the PIDF Attack Chopper, a Predator Pal, and Astralym at the end of the story.

No-Fly ZoneAttack ChopperDefeat the PIDF Attack Chopper4.7%
Savior of PalpagosAstralymDefeat Astralym, the final boss6.0%

The raid four are the biggest damage checks in the game and each wants a specific answer: Bellanoir Libero, Blazamut Ryu, Xenolord and Hartalis all have published weaknesses and team lists worth reading before you burn a summoning item. Savior of Palpagos is gated behind the whole World Tree sequence — Panthalus, the Sunreach tower, the four World Tree dungeons — so in practice it arrives at the same time as several other achievements on this page. The Attack Chopper is a PIDF unit rather than a Pal, and it comes in two variants, which is why people who only ever fought one still see the achievement pop.

Alpha and Bounty Token Achievements

Two achievements run off Pal Bounty Tokens, the proof-of-kill items you get the first time you beat or catch an alpha. There are 99 tokens in the game and 90 fixed alphas pinned on the map, so needing 20 is a small slice — and since capturing counts the same as killing, every legendary catch above also feeds this. Tokens are permanent damage bonuses for that alpha's element, so this is the rare pair of achievements that make your account stronger while you chase them.

AchievementHow to unlockSteam players with it
Rookie Pal SlayerObtain 5 Pal Bounty Tokens35.0%
Alpha Pal SlayerObtain 20 Pal Bounty Tokens23.5%

The fastest 20 are the low-level alphas in the starting regions, which run from level 11 upward — the alpha hunting order lists them by level band so you can sweep the cheap ones before your gear stalls. Repeat kills give nothing, so once a token is in your Key Items tab that alpha is off the list for good.

Exploration and Collectible Achievements

Ten achievements come from moving around the map, and the numbers behind them are worth knowing before you start. There are 152 fast travel points, 170 dungeon entrances, 58 enemy camps and 64 journals in the world — so Senior Adventurer's 20 dungeons and Unstoppable Streak's 10 camps are both small fractions of what is out there, while Trail of the Castaway's 40 journals means finding nearly two thirds of every diary in the game.

A Nose for TreasureFind 5 treasures with Treasure Maps7.5%
Trail of the CastawayObtain 40 Notes1.5%

Trail of the Castaway at 1.5% is the third-rarest non-effigy achievement on the list, and it is pure legwork — every one of the 64 journals has a nearest fast travel point, so it is a two-evening job if you route it instead of stumbling into them. The camp achievements are the opposite kind of grind: enemy camps repopulate, so ten clears can come from a handful of camps on the enemy camp layer revisited over a few days, and they pay in gold and ammo while you do it. Dungeons stack the same way — the grasslands entrances alone number 48, and a full clear takes minutes once you outlevel the region.

Base, Crafting and Research Achievements

Eight achievements sit at your base, and all of them are counters you will pass without noticing if you build normally. The three research tiers are the interesting ones: the Pal Labor Research board holds 168 projects, so Pal Labor Professor's 70 completions is well under half the board — but research consumes materials and base labor time, so it moves at the speed of your ore supply, not your play time.

Pal Labor ProfessorComplete 70 Pal Labor Research projects5.2%
Novice Pal DispatcherComplete 10 Pal Expeditions18.4%
Elite Pal DispatcherComplete 20 Pal Expeditions12.7%

Expeditions are the cheapest achievements in this group by a distance. There are only 18 expedition destinations, so the 20 dispatches for Elite Pal Dispatcher guarantee repeats — send teams out every time you log off and both tiers clear themselves. The expedition strength requirements decide which destinations you can even attempt, and the 30-minute runs are fine for the counter. Blood and Iron is the slow one: 20,000 rounds is a genuine production commitment, so start an ammo line early and let it run rather than crafting to order.

Pal Raising Achievements

Five achievements come from what you do to a Pal after you catch it, and they map neatly onto the endgame systems. Trust level 10 is the sneaky one — the trust ladder tops out at 200,000 trust points, and the last two ranks alone cost 90,000 of that, so Best Friends Forever wants a Pal you deliberately favor rather than one you happen to use.

Best Friends ForeverReach Trust level 10 with a Pal14.2%
Hidden PotentialAwaken a Pal for the first time4.9%
Meddling With MutationMutate a Pal for the first time10.6%

Ranking up five Pals is the material sink here — it is four duplicates per star, so plan it around a Pal you can breed in bulk and read the rank-up cost breakdown before you feed anything you cannot replace. Hidden Potential at 4.9% is the surprise: awakening only needs one Radiant Gem of the right element, and gems farm quickly once you know the sources, so most players who never got it simply never tried. If you are doing all five anyway, do them on the same Pal — the min-max order matters, because condensing before you invest souls wastes nothing while the reverse does.

Fishing Achievements

Four achievements come from the rod, and they are counters rather than collection targets: 10, 30 and 50 Pals reeled in, plus one Lunker. 39 Pals are fishable, and every one of them has a large Lunker version, so Veteran Angler's 50 catches guarantees you will be pulling duplicates long before you run out of species.

Novice AnglerReel in 10 Pals12.8%
Seasoned AnglerReel in 30 Pals7.7%
Veteran AnglerReel in 50 Pals5.1%
Lunker HunterReel in 1 Lunker11.9%

Lunker Hunter is the only one with a catch to it — Lunkers are the oversized versions that fight back on the reel, and they show up far more often at the 124 rare fishing spots than at the 422 standard ones. Park yourself at a rare spot with better bait and all four achievements fall out of the same session; the fishing guide covers which bait tier changes what you hook.

Arena Achievements

Three achievements track the Arena ladder, and they contain the single rarest achievement in Palworld. The ladder runs seven ranks — Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum, Diamond, Master and Legend — and the difficulty curve is not linear: Bronze through Platinum is one opponent team each, Diamond and Master are ten apiece, and Legend is a 19-team gauntlet.

AchievementHow to unlockSteam players with it
Silver ChampReach Silver Rank in the Arena8.8%
Arena ChampionReach Master Rank in the Arena0.7%
Arena LegendReach Legend Rank in the Arena0.2%

The gap between Silver at 8.8% and Master at 0.7% tells you exactly where the wall is: Diamond. Fights are Pal-versus-Pal with no player input beyond your team, so this is decided entirely by preparation — level 60+ Pals, condensed, souled and awakened, with a comp built for coverage rather than raw stats. The best team comps and partner skill picks are the two things that actually move the needle here, and Battle Tickets from the lower ranks fund the run.

Effigy Achievements

Thirteen achievements — the largest group on the list — are effigy milestones, and they line up exactly with the statue upgrade tracks. Each 20-effigy Guru achievement is one completed track: 20 relics is the full cost of the swim, climb, jump, glider, hunger, food decay, stamina and status resistance upgrades. Each 4-effigy Traveler achievement is one of the short tracks, which are also the best value in the game — 4 relics for +50% EXP or 100% sphere homing. And Palpagos Guardian's 100 Lifmunk Effigies is the complete capture power ladder, all 15 ranks, so it pops the moment your Statue of Power is finished.

There are 407 effigies on the map across all regions, so nothing here is scarce — it is purely a matter of walking. The effigy layer shows every pin, and grabbing them as you pass costs you nothing since you get the statue bonus and the achievement from the same pickup. Note the one effigy species with no achievement attached: Mimog Effigies arrive on their own as you catch Pals, and their movement speed track is a 287-relic marathon nobody is asked to finish. The full effigy upgrade breakdown has the cost of every track if you want to know what each achievement actually buys you.

The Rarest Palworld Achievements

Eight of the ten rarest achievements are effigy milestones, and the other two are the top of the Arena ladder. That is a useful signal: the rarest things in Palworld are not hard, they are long. Nothing in this table requires a skill you do not already have by level 50 — Feybreak Guru is 20 pickups, and 0.5% of players have bothered.

8World Traveler4 Yakumo Effigies0.8%
9Sakurajima Guru20 Herbil Effigies0.9%
10Trail of the Castaway40 of the 64 journals1.5%

World Traveler is the standout bargain — four effigies, 0.8% of players, and it is a rarer achievement than beating the final boss. If you want your profile to look impressive for an hour of work, the three Traveler achievements at four relics each are the cheapest rare achievements in the game.

TipEffigy allocation is not a trap: every statue track can be reset for a single Gold Coin, so spending relics early for the movement and capture bonuses never costs you the achievement later. Pick up everything you walk past — the achievement counts effigies obtained, not effigies still sitting unspent.

Fastest Achievements to Clear First

If you are cleaning up rather than starting fresh, do these in order — each is under an hour and several are under a minute:

  • Inhuman Act — throw a sphere at any syndicate NPC at the nearest enemy camp.
  • World Traveler, Forest Traveler, Island Traveler — four effigies each, and the tracks they feed are the best in the game.
  • Hidden Potential — one Radiant Gem of any element on any Pal.
  • Elite Pal Dispatcher — 20 expedition dispatches that run while you are offline.
  • Lunker Hunter — one session at a rare fishing spot.
  • Rookie Pal Slayer — five low-level alphas, all of which drop useful gear anyway.
  • Senior Adventurer — 20 dungeon clears, and dungeons are the best XP per minute in the game once you outlevel them.

Save the Arena for last. It is the only group where preparation is measured in weeks rather than hours, and Master rank needs the same team you would build for the endgame checklist anyway — so it doubles as a benchmark for whether the rest of your account is finished.
