Best Sweepa and 4 Swee Team: King of Fluff Buff Guide
How the Sweepa + 4 Swee team works in Palworld: the exact King of Fluff percentages at every partner skill level, the +96% ceiling, the Sweepa Saddle gate at tech level 20, where to catch both Pals, and the moves and passives that turn the stack into real damage.

Sweepa looks like a fluffy joke Pal until you fill the four slots behind it with Swee, at which point its stat page stops being accurate. This guide covers what Sweepa's stats and location actually become under King of Fluff, the exact percentage each Swee is worth at every partner skill level, the saddle you have to build before any of it turns on, where to catch all five Pals, and the moves and passives that make the buff hit.
Sweepa and Swee at a Glance
Both halves of this team are Ice Pals from the same evolutionary joke — Swee is Paldeck #35, Sweepa is #36, and Sweepa's own entry says it hides Swee in its body hair. On paper Sweepa is a mid-tier Ice mount: 100 HP, 90 Ranged Attack, 90 Defense, and a 1,020 ride sprint that ranks 67th of the 140 rideable Pals, so nobody is picking it for the travel speed. Swee is worse than that in every combat number and never has to fight anyway — its job in this team is to sit in a party slot and pay Sweepa a percentage.
| Pal | Paldeck | Element | HP | Melee | Ranged | Defense | Partner Skill |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
Sweepa | #36 | Ice | 100 | 100 | 90 | 90 | King of Fluff |
Swee | #35 | Ice | 60 | 100 | 60 | 60 | Fluffy |
How King of Fluff Works
King of Fluff pays out on party composition, not on riding. Every Swee sitting in one of your party slots raises Sweepa's Ranged Attack and Defense by a fixed percentage, and that percentage is set by Sweepa's partner skill level — condensing Sweepa doesn't add a bonus of its own, it raises what each Swee is worth. An uncondensed Sweepa collects 12% per Swee; a fully condensed one collects 24%, which is where the headline +96% comes from. Both stats move together, so this is a defensive buff as much as an offensive one.
| Partner Skill Lv | Per Swee | 2 Swee | 3 Swee | 4 Swee |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Lv 1 (uncondensed) | +12% | +24% | +36% | +48% |
| Lv 2 | +13% | +26% | +39% | +52% |
| Lv 3 | +15% | +30% | +45% | +60% |
| Lv 4 | +19% | +38% | +57% | +76% |
| Lv 5 (max condense) | +24% | +48% | +72% | +96% |
The percentages apply to Ranged Attack and Defense only, and for Sweepa that costs nothing: every move it learns from Ice Missile up to Diamond Rain is a Shot move, so the buff covers its entire kit. That +96% lands before gear, passives and IVs, which is why a stacked Sweepa hits far harder than the 90 Ranged Attack on its Paldeck entry suggests.
The Best Sweepa + 4 Swee Team
There is no clever variant here — the team is Sweepa plus the maximum number of Swee your party can hold, because the fifth slot is Sweepa itself. Any Pal you swap in for a Swee costs you a flat 24% Ranged Attack and 24% Defense at max condense, so a support Pal has to be worth roughly a quarter of Sweepa's offence to break even, and almost none are. Build the four Swee for nothing: they never take a hit, never need levels, and never need good IVs.
| Slot | Pal | Why it's there |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | Sweepa | The carrier. Everything the other four slots produce lands on its Ranged Attack and Defense |
| 2 | Swee | +24% at max condense. Level 1 is fine — the buff ignores its stats entirely |
| 3 | Swee | +24%. Keep it in its sphere all fight; it contributes from inside |
| 4 | Swee | +24%. Cheapest damage in the game — a Pal Sphere and a wild catch |
| 5 | Swee | +24%, taking the stack to +96%. Base and Palbox slots do not count |
What You Need Before the Buff Turns On
Two things gate the whole setup, and the first one catches most players out: the Sweepa Saddle is what switches the partner skill on, not just the ride. Until you have unlocked and built one, a party full of Swee does nothing at all. The saddle sits at technology level 20 for 1 point and costs a trivial pile of early materials, so the real cost is reaching level 20. The second gate is slot type — the Swee have to occupy actual party slots, not base workers or Palbox storage.
| Requirement | Detail |
|---|---|
| Technology level | Level 20, 1 Technology Point for the Sweepa Saddle |
| Saddle materials | 10× |
| Party setup | Sweepa plus 4 Swee in party slots — base and Palbox Pals give nothing |
| For the full +96% | Sweepa condensed to five stars (partner skill Lv 5) |
How to Get Sweepa and Swee
Neither Pal is rare, which is the best part of this team — the whole squad is a wild-catch job you can finish in one trip to the snow. Swee has 100 spawn points on the map by day and 100 at night; Sweepa has 99 and 99. Both are Ice Pals, so pack cold-weather gear and something that hits for Fire.
Catch Four Swee in the Wild
Swee is a 1-star Pal with a 1.1 capture rate, so ordinary Pal Spheres work on it well past the early game. Check every Swee spawn point on the Palworld map — all 100 daytime pins are live, and the same 100 hold at night, so time of day never matters. Catch six or seven while you are out: you only need four in the party, but spares feed the condenser and each one has a 50% chance to drop Swee Hair, the material behind the Swee Cap.
Catch Sweepa and Farm Its Alpha
Wild Sweepa turn up between levels 11 and 40 across 99 Sweepa spawn points, and there is an Alpha at level 11 plus a boss version at the end of Ravine Grotto. The Alpha is worth repeat trips even after you have your carrier — it pays Ancient Civilization Parts and Precious Pelt at 100% every kill, which is a lot of value for a level 11 fight.
| Source | Drop | Rate | Amount |
|---|---|---|---|
| Wild Sweepa | 100% | 3-5 | |
| Alpha Sweepa (Lv 11) | 100% | 2-4 | |
| Alpha Sweepa (Lv 11) | 100% | 5-7 | |
| Wild Swee | 50% | 1 |
Breed the Spares for Condensing
Getting Sweepa to five stars takes duplicates, and breeding is the calm way to farm them once you have a pair — Sweepa also has 615 different parent pairings that land on it, so odds are you already own two Pals that produce one. Swee has 48 pairings of its own if you would rather hatch the batteries than catch them. Run the numbers on your own box with the Palworld breeding calculator before you commit a cake.
Best Moves for Sweepa
Sweepa's move list is unusually clean for this build: all eight learned moves are Shot moves, so King of Fluff buffs every single one of them. Diamond Rain at level 70 is the payoff — 600 power on a 30-second cooldown with 5,000 range — with Blizzard Spike as the mid-cooldown nuke and Crystal Breath as the reliable filler. Pal Blast is the odd one out at Neutral element, which matters if you are running Ice damage passives, since those do nothing for it.
| Lv | Move | Element | Power | Cooldown | Range |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | Power Shot | Neutral | 80 | 4s | 3,000 |
| 7 | Ice Missile | Ice | 40 | 2s | 3,000 |
| 15 | Icicle Cutter | Ice | 80 | 4s | 4,000 |
| 22 | Iceberg | Ice | 120 | 8s | 5,000 |
| 30 | Crystal Breath | Ice | 160 | 8s | 1,500 |
| 40 | Pal Blast | Neutral | 450 | 20s | 1,800 |
| 50 | Blizzard Spike | Ice | 450 | 20s | 5,000 |
| 70 | Diamond Rain | Ice | 600 | 30s | 5,000 |
Best Passives to Stack on Sweepa
Passives multiply on top of the Swee stack, so the four slots below are where a good Sweepa separates from a lucky one. Musclehead is the biggest single attack number available and its −50% work speed penalty is irrelevant on a combat Pal you never assign to a base. Ice Emperor is the sleeper pick here because seven of Sweepa's eight moves are Ice, and Legend is the all-rounder if you get it from a raid drop. Compare the full list on the Palworld passive skills database before you start rerolling.
| Passive | Effect | Why on Sweepa |
|---|---|---|
| Musclehead | Attack +30%, Work Speed −50% | Largest attack passive in the game, and the drawback never applies to a party fighter |
| Ice Emperor | Ice attack damage +30% | Covers Ice Missile through Diamond Rain — everything except Power Shot and Pal Blast |
| Legend | Attack +20%, Defense +20%, Move Speed +20% | Feeds both halves of King of Fluff at once |
| Ferocious | Attack +20% | The common fallback when Musclehead won't roll |
| Burly Body | Defense +20%, immune to flinch | Flinch immunity keeps Diamond Rain's 30-second cooldown from being wasted |
The Repeat-Stacking Trick and Why Not to Build Around It
There is currently a way to stack King of Fluff past its ceiling, and it is a bug rather than a mechanic. Lead with Sweepa, fill the four slots behind it with Swee, mount up, then drop all four Swee out of the party menu while still mounted (F on keyboard, right stick on controller), dismount and collect them again. The game applies a fresh set of stacks without clearing the ones already on Sweepa, and every repeat adds another layer.
Those layers survive putting Sweepa back in its sphere, fast travelling, and sending other Pals out to fight. They clear when you move Sweepa to a different party slot, remove it from the party, or close the game. Treat it as a way to walk over a raid boss this week rather than a build to plan around — it will get patched. It is also the usual explanation when someone's Sweepa is doing damage the numbers on this page can't account for.
Is the Sweepa Team Worth It?
Yes, and unusually early. Every piece is cheap — five common Ice Pals, a level 20 saddle, and no rare materials anywhere — and the payoff is a near-doubling of both Ranged Attack and Defense on a Pal whose entire moveset is Shot. The ceiling is real: +96% and no further without the bug, and Sweepa's 90 base Ranged Attack means it is not going to out-damage a fully built endgame Pal. What it does do is give a mid-game player raid-boss-tier burst for the cost of four wild catches, which is the best return on effort available at that stage.
