All 35 New Pals in Palworld 1.0 and Where to Find Them — Palworld Database

Palworld 1.0 put 35 new Pals into the Paldeck, and almost none of them live anywhere you had already explored. This guide lists every one of them with the exact place it spawns, the level band you will meet it at, which ones are alpha-only, which ones you have to beat instead of catch, and the 24 elemental variants that now only turn up in 1.0 territory.

The 1.0 Paldeck Additions at a Glance

The Paldeck now runs to 204 numbered entries plus 84 subspecies forms, for 288 Pals total. The 35 additions sit in two blocks of that numbering — #159 to #184 and #190 to #194, plus Hartalis, Neptilius, Panthalus and Astralym at the very end. Geographically they split three ways, and that split is the fastest way to plan a catching run: the sky islands hold the low-60s batch, the World Tree holds the mid-70s batch, and only four of them ever set foot on the original map.

New Pals in the Sunreach Sky Islands

Eleven of the new Pals live above the map in the Sunreach sky islands, and every one of them sits in a tight level 63–69 band — so once you can survive up there, you can clear the whole set in one trip. Farcry Marsh is the single best stop: Hoodle and Bakemi both put 45 of their 115 spawn points there, and Slowatt, Lapiron, Snock and Valentail all pile into the same marsh. The two worth going out of your way for are Lapure, which halves the partner-skill cooldown of everything else in your party, and Tropicaw, whose partner skill stretches your dodge invincibility window by 9% — nothing else in the game widens i-frames at all.

The sky islands also swallowed some older Pals whole. Frostplume now has all 100 of its spawn points up there, spread across Crystalline Archipelago, the Azure Covenant Tower approach and The Azure Tapestry, and Quivern keeps 189 points in the clouds on top of its Palpagos spawns. If you skipped the sky region you are missing more than the eleven new faces. Open the Palworld Interactive Map and pick a Pal to see the exact dots.

New Pals Inside the World Tree

The World Tree is the harder half of the list — most of these sit at level 74–80, so bring endgame gear rather than trying to sneak a capture. Lacrymal Shoal is the densest single stop, feeding Roujay, Solenne, Selyne and Wistella, while Shinespore Root covers Mycora and Loomen. Priority order if you only have time for a few: Shaolong first — it is a top-tier all-rounder at 135 attack and 140 HP and its 2,800 sprint speed makes it the second-fastest mount in the game — then Bastigor for Cooling Lv8, then Solenne, whose Handiwork Lv8 is the joint-highest in the game and whose partner skill hands you +80% attack as long as no two Pals in your party share a species.

The World Tree is its own map with its own 15 fast-travel points, so a Pal's dots will not show up on the Palpagos view. Switch regions with the World Tree map and pick the Pal you are hunting.

New Pals on the Palpagos Map

Only four of the 35 ever appear on the original island, and two of those exist purely as field bosses. Azurmane is the one you can actually farm — 112 spawn points concentrated around the Feybreak Tower approach, Azure Cliffs and Amethyst Outcrop, plus its own level 66 alpha standing at Azure Cliffs. Knocklem splits its time between the Deep Sand Dunes and the World Tree's Whimsical Wisteria Grove and is the best pure-labour addition in 1.0 at Mining Lv7 and Transporting Lv7. Silvegis and Neptilius have no wild spawns at all: the single alpha is the only copy in the world, so catch it rather than kill it.

Every New Alpha and What Level It Stands At

Fourteen of the 35 have an alpha version, and for six of them — Silvegis, Neptilius, Eidrolon, Ophydia, Renjishi and Aegidron — that alpha is the only way to get the Pal, because they never spawn in the wild. Work the list from the top down: Knocklem at level 55 is beatable long before the rest, and the three at 78–79 are the last things you will clear in the World Tree. Eidrolon is the standout catch of the middle band, hitting 125 attack with the third-fastest sprint speed in the game once you unlock its saddle.

The 1.0 Pals You Have to Beat, Not Find

Five of the additions are set-piece fights with inflated health bars rather than field encounters, and their loot is what actually gates your endgame crafting. Panthalus is the wall between you and the World Tree, waiting at the Deserted Islet with 42 times a normal Pal's health. Silvance and Dandilord are the two you will farm repeatedly — both are level 70 and both drop 5 to 10 of a unique material every single kill, which is exactly what the Corrosive Mist Mask and Explosion-Resistant Undershirt need. Astralym closes the story, and its rematch is the single hardest fight in the game at 405 times base health.

BossElementHealth multiplierWhat it gives you

Astralym×40, rematch ×405Precious Dragon Stone; 200 attack and 200 HP once caught

DandilordGrass / DarkLevel 70 field boss5–10 Toxin Filtering Membrane and 1–3 Dark Radiant Gem
HartalisNeutral×180 raid, ×320 ultraPrecious Pelt in bulk; 130 attack and the #5 fastest sprint

Shaolong, Selyne and Bastigor double as the World Tree's three arena fights before you can catch them in the open, at 50, 54 and 62 times base health respectively, with rematches at 88, 93 and 75. Full multiplier tables live on the All Tower Bosses and Battle Multipliers and All Raid Bosses and Battle Multipliers pages.

TipSix of the 35 have no wild spawns whatsoever — Silvegis, Neptilius, Eidrolon, Ophydia, Renjishi and Aegidron exist as a single alpha each. Bring capture gear to those fights, not just damage. If you knock one out without a sphere on you, you are waiting for the respawn to try again.

Elemental Variants That Only Appear in 1.0 Territory

Beyond the 35 new entries, 24 subspecies forms have every one of their spawn points inside 1.0 areas, which makes them just as new to your save. The heaviest concentration is the Abandoned Laboratory in the World Tree, where Beakon Cryst, Univolt Cryst and Elgrove Cryst share the same 69-point pool and give you three Cooling workers in one sweep. Whalaska Ignis is the biggest single target at 112 points, and Solmora Lux is the widest-ranging at 251 points across both the sky islands and the tree.

Dualith Noct is the trap in that list — three spawn points in the entire game, tucked into the two laboratories deep in the World Tree. Everything else on it can be farmed in a normal evening, but that one needs patience or a breeding pair. Work out the parents on the Palworld Breeding Calculator.

A Sensible Order to Catch Them In

Start with Knocklem at level 55 and Neptilius at 60 while you are still on Palpagos — Neptilius's 145 attack will carry you through the next twenty levels. Then take the sky islands as one block: everything up there caps at 69, and Farcry Marsh alone gives you six of the eleven. Panthalus is the gate after that, and once you are inside the World Tree the level floor jumps to the mid-70s, so finish your gear before you commit. Leave Renjishi, Mycora and Aegidron for last; at 78 and 79 they are the highest-level things in the 1.0 roster outside the arena fights.
