How to Farm the 60 Wood and 20 Stone

63 Pals can work Lumbering and 57 can work Mining, but almost none of the high-level ones are catchable at 14, so the question is which cheap Pal gives you the most levels per capture. Wood and Stone both cost 12 Gold a unit, and only the Wandering Trader stocks them — the fixed village counters do not. That puts the complete four-piece set at 960 Gold, which is genuinely cheap by decoration standards and the fastest option if you are already flush from selling drops. There is no per-visit cap, so you can walk out with all 80 units in one stop.
