How to Farm Honey in Palworld (Ranch, Drops & What It's For)

Updated 2026-07-22

Honey is the ingredient that gates every Cake in Palworld — and cakes are what your breeding farm runs on. There are two reliable ways to keep the jars full: put Beegarde to work at a Ranch, or hunt the handful of bug Pals that drop Honey when defeated. Here's every source, plus what every other Ranch Pal produces while you're at it.

Fastest Way to Farm Honey — Beegarde at the Ranch

Beegarde periodically drops Honey when assigned to a Ranch, and it needs zero input — no feeding runs, no fighting. Park two or three at your base and the Honey piles up while you do literally anything else. Beegarde flies around 43 wild spawn areas — grab a few on the interactive map, and check Beegarde's full stats and breeding combos if you'd rather breed your workforce.

Every Pal That Drops Honey

Five Pals hand over Honey when you knock them out or catch them — and every one of them drops it every single time:

TipElizabee is the jackpot — 5 Honey every kill across 42 spawn areas. A quick circuit of her territory beats an hour of small-time hunting. Cinnamoth only gives 1, but with 261 spawn areas it's everywhere early game.

What Honey Is Used For

Almost all of it goes into ovens. Every cake recipe calls for Honey, and cakes are mandatory fuel for the Breeding Farm — see every cake recipe and what it does and the breeding combo calculator for what to do with them:

Every Ranch Pal and What It Produces

Honey isn't the only thing a Ranch prints for free. Here's the full lineup — every Pal that produces something when assigned to a Ranch, and what you get:

Two oddballs round out the roster: Vixy digs random items out of the ground at the Ranch instead of producing one set thing, and Vaelet sometimes drops various seeds. Handy early, less so once your farms are rolling.
